Hiya! I am a high school English teacher, and have also taught Humanities and Science, plus an English elective where we studied anime and manga. Through work, I've done first aid and anaphylaxis training a few times and those qualifications are kept up to date Happy to help with homework you'd like, proper tutoring depending on the age would have to be a discussion to work out needs and pay rates I'm the eldest of 5 children, so until I was 16 years old there was always an infant or toddler in the house and I have plenty of experience in looking after kids and keeping them entertained I'll have more availability on the school holidays if you need :)

I am deeply passionate about supporting others and creating a positive impact in my community, and I believe my personal and caregiving experience makes me a strong fit for this role. I am currently living with my family, which includes toddlers and elderly members, and I have been a primary caregiver for my 93-year-old grandfather for the past eight years. This role has taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of attentive and respectful care. It has also given me valuable experience in understanding the diverse needs of both older and younger generations, particularly in providing emotional support, managing routines, and ensuring safety and well-being. My personal experiences have shaped my understanding of the importance of community care and support services, and I am eager to contribute to an organization that shares these values. I am reliable, empathetic, and always willing to learn and adapt to meet the needs of others.

If I had to describe myself in 3 words i would say, Friendly, Positive and Nurturing. I come from the Mornington Peninsula and before that some rural towns between NSW and VIC. I grew up with my mum and sister (2yrs older). They taught me to be kind, compassionate, and care for others. I am very empathetic and feel for other people and their emotions so I try to make others feel good. As far as my experience with kids goes, I haven’t done much babysitting other than on occasion for family or friends but I love kids, and am wanting to become a primary school teacher soon, I’m a musician studying in Fitzroy at the moment which is where I spend most my time, but I’m looking at teaching courses for next year. I can provide many references from family, friends and employers who can vouch for everything i’ve said on here, if you have any more questions or want to chat more before choosing me to take on this responsibility please get in touch. P.S. I will be obtaining a Working with Children Check, a Police check and getting first aid training
