Hi my names Kyra and I’m 20 years old from Rye. A little about me, I have completed a diploma of health science and am a few months off completing my bachelor of psychological science. While working on my degrees, I have casually babysat, bartended, waitressed, and cleaned. I would however love to get into child psychology and development later on in life. With this background knowledge, it is a perfect compliment to my love for kids! I find it so rewarding watching them grow and learn new skills. During babysitting, I will do anything to help the kids and parents with anything they need. This ranges from helping with homework, helping to clean, playing games and doing activities, getting the kids ready for their day or night, prep food, go for walks, watch movies and so much more. Lastly, I am very flexible and happy to work around other people when in need. I am also very reliable. I have worked 25yrs in Child Protection and mental health counselling. I love children and teenagers as they have so much to offer if we only truly listen. The greatest gift we can give our young is to be consistent and not focus on the negatives, reward the positives, and build on the negatives in a positive manner. I have raised 4 amazing children on my own plus 2000+ in Child Protection so I definitely have the experience :-)
