Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi My name is Indi Ruthven, I am looking for nannying/babysitting work 3-5 days a week! A little bit about me: I am based in Richmond, granduated school from St Michael’s Grammar in 2024 and I am currently studying Nursing. I am an experienced and dedicated childcare professional with several years of hands-on babysitting experience, working with children from a wide range of ages and family backgrounds. In 2025, I completed a rewarding gap year at St Catherine’s School in Bramley, UK, where I worked full-time with children across a variety of settings. My role at St Catherine’s was dynamic and multifaceted. I supported classroom activities, provided after-school care, and was responsible for supervising and engaging with children throughout the day. My duties included everything from helping with academic tasks to playing and caring for children during free time. I also taught swimming lessons and coached school teams in basketball, netball, and tennis—developing both my leadership skills and my ability to connect with children through sport. This experience, combined with my long-standing babysitting background, has strengthened my confidence, adaptability, and passion for working with young people in both educational and recreational environments. I have done training in CPR, first aid and life guarding as my role last year required lots of skills. I also hold a valid working with children’s check. I absolutely love spending time with kids, helping with homework, playing outside, and making sure there is a good routine for them! while prioritising a fun and safe environment. I have references that can be sent through if needed, as well I have my own car and am on my green P plates. My base rate is $35 an hour. Thank you for your consideration Indi x

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi! I’m looking for a consistent babysitting/nannying role with a lovely Melbourne family 🤍 I grew up in Melbourne and attended MLC before moving to Canberra last year to study at ANU. I’ve recently moved back home to Melbourne to focus more on work while continuing my university studies online. This gives me lots of flexibility, and I’d really love to find a family I can work with consistently and become a part of their regular routine. I’ve grown up around children and have been babysitting for different families for years. Most recently, I nannied for a family in Canberra with three children aged 5, 8 and 12. I’ve also cared for a 1-year-old baby and have experience with a family of four children, so I’m very comfortable looking after different ages, managing multiple children at once and working within busy family routines. I also have a younger brother, so looking after younger kids and being part of a busy family environment has always felt very natural to me. I genuinely love children and really enjoy building a relationship with them rather than babysitting feeling like just a job. I love being silly and having fun with them, but I’m also dependable, patient and confident when it comes to routines and responsibilities. I’m a very active person ,I currently do Pilates and boxing and grew up playing football and soccer, so I’m always happy to get outside, go to the park, kick a ball around, go for walks or keep active with the kids. I’m also really creative and love painting, drawing and doing arts and crafts, so I’m always coming up with things we can do together rather than relying on screens. I genuinely love cooking and would be more than happy to prepare meals for the children or the whole family. I also really enjoy helping around the house and am more than happy to do laundry, tidying, general housework, organising, grocery shopping and errands. I can help with school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school activities, homework, dinner, bath and bedtime routines, whatever helps make the household run a little more smoothly. I’m also very happy to take on personal or household assistant work while the children are at school. This could include grocery runs, appointments, shopping and returns, organising the house or cupboards, running errands and helping with general day-to-day tasks. I’m warm, energetic, organised and dependable, and I’d love to find a family looking for someone consistent and long-term. For me, the ideal role would be one where I can really get to know the children and family, become someone they trust and rely on, and make their lives a little easier while creating a fun, safe and happy environment for the kids. Please feel free to message me if you think I could be a good fit for your family! 🤍
