Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’ve recently moved to Melbourne from Northern NSW as I’ve always wanted to live in a city since I come from a small country town. I love reading, sports, concerts and baking. I love kids and have done some basic babysitting for neighbours previously. I believe I would be suited to this job because I am kind, patient and love playing games whether that’s a board game or kicking a footy!

I’ve worked in OSHC (after-school care), so I’m really comfortable with kids aged 5–12. I’ve also babysat my younger cousins since they were babies (now 4 and 9), so I have experience with younger kids too. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and usually end up at the kids’ table at family events. At OSHC, I helped prepare afternoon tea, ran activities, and supported staff. I’m currently studying a Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support and would love to keep working with kids, hopefully as a nanny. I’m creative and love arts and crafts.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am looking for casual and part time babysitting in the inner north during my gap year upon completing high school! I currently work part times at a Coles on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings, as well as on Sunday afternoons. Next year, Im studying a bachelor of science at RMIT and plan on continuing to provide my babysitting services throughout my studies as well😊 Some things about me include my love for animals and my passion to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. As someone who has cats, a dog, and a blue tongue lizard of my own, I am very devoted to the welfare and nurture of animals. I am very crafty and enjoy scrapbooking and painting, as well as reading, music, and bike-riding. I have been assisting in childcare and supervision since about the age of 8, as my mother has been a full time nanny for over 25 years. What started with going to her nanny homes after school to play with the kids, turned into her referring me for babysitting gigs when she was unavailable. I deeply enjoy being a friend to the kids I babysit and understanding their routines so that I can ensure that they see me as not only a helping hand, but as well as a fun role model! A common babysitting job that I am most sought after are evening babysitting for kindergarten and primary school kids, which I usually do 2-3 times a fortnight, depending on when I am needed by my known families. Additionally, I regularly babysit for my neighbours 3.5 year old, and will also look after her 7 month old when she returns to work. Once she does return, this role involves caring for her infant while her other child is at kindergarten, then picking her child up from kindergarten to care for both in the afternoons. I will be doing this on Mondays and Saturdays till the late afternoon from the beginning of June.

Hello families! My name is Lucy and I am a 28-year old nanny seeking full-time, part-time or casual employment. I love children of all ages and have been working with them many years. I enjoy their playful presence and find engaging with them a rewarding and delightful experience. I have been babysitting since the age of 16 and did more comprehensive nannying for seven years, only recently taking a break to pursue my full-time career in publishing. While I have been away, I continue to babysit the children in my life, such as my toddler nephew and baby niece. My most recent nannying job was for a family in Brunswick for four years, caring for their daughter from the age of 18 months old. I saw her talk and take her first steps, develop language and social skills, and it was an absolute joy and honour to help raise her. I consider myself quite creative, so I fit easily into children's’ fun and games, especially that of make-believe.
