Hi, I’m Vanessa 😊 I’ve worked for two years as a summer camp counselor in the U.S, providing 24/7 care for kids aged 6-17 during their 9 week programs. Last year, I ran arts and crafts activities and lived with girls aged 12- 14. This year I worked closely with groups of children ranging from 6-10 year old as a general counselor, helping them through everything from daily routines to tricky emotions and building confidence along the way. I also regularly babysit for a few local families with kids aged 7 - 11 years. My work responsibilites have varied from night nanny to infants, carer and educator of pre school, primary and secondary aged children. I have worked casually, part time and full time and at times taken on sole care of children during their parents absence of anything from 2 days to 5 weeks.
