I am a proud mother of five boys and a grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren. I come from a Sri Lankan Dutch Portuguese background, which has deeply shaped my values around family, culture, and connection. I am a qualified NLP Life Coach and Hypnotherapist, and I work closely with mothers and children, supporting them through personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and family challenges. As both a professional and a mother, I bring lived experience, compassion, and understanding into the work I do. My youngest son is 16 and my oldest is 37, so I have walked through many stages of parenting. For me, parenting has always been about connection more than correction — building trust, emotional safety, and mutual respect. I have also completed courses with Dr. Shefali, who specialises in conscious parenting, which has further strengthened my approach to guiding families with awareness and intention.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Antonella, I’m 21 years old and I moved to Australia from Chile 🇨🇱 when I was 18. When I first arrived, I started doing casual babysitting, but I took a break when I began studying cookery. I’m now in my final year and have recently started babysitting again, which I’ve really enjoyed. Before moving to Australia, I studied Early Childhood Education in Chile, so I’ve always had a genuine interest in caring for and working with children. I also have over 3 years of experience working in cleaning, which has helped me become very organised, responsible and reliable. I understand how busy life can get for parents, especially when living away from family support, and I’d love to be someone who can make things a little easier ❤️‍🩹. I’m happy to help with playtime, walks, meals, nappies, bath time, bedtime and following your child’s usual routine. I prefer long-term babysitting rather than one-off jobs because I really value building trust and a genuine connection with both the child and their family. I’m caring, patient, responsible and respectful of each family’s own routines and parenting style.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi I'm Mel, I'm an aunty of 4 beautiful nieces, I love animals, cheese, and travel. I'm passionate about child development, play-based learning, and helping busy families thrive amid the pace of modern life. I bring 15+ years of teaching experience across NZ, Hong Kong, and China, plus 2 years of nannying and 20 years of babysitting. I'm a Master's (ECE) student seeking casual work alongside study, looking for ideally 12–16 hours/week. I'm open to regular nannying for the right family — hours and rates and trevel distance are a guide, not fixed, I'm flexible — for a regular family my preference would be 5hrs × 3 days or 8hrs × 2 days a week. After school, I occasionally have my niece with me, so a regular family would need to be comfortable with her joining sometimes. Outside of study, you'll find me playing frisbee, reading, listening to music, or making things — I've always got a craft or DIY project on the go.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, my name is Brooke and thank you for taking the time to read about me. I guess I'll start with saying that I have worked with babies and children in some capacity for going on 28+ years. Positions I have held range from running baby rooms in long day care, nannying, (both here and overseas), as well as being a practicing sleep practitioner and night nanny to name a few. I have cared for babies and children from the ages newborn, all the way through to children aged 8 years. My past nanny positions have been long in duration, lengths of 14 months to 6 years.. I prefer longevity in positions as I believe it is important for both children and families to form firm connections based on trust. Having the privilege of watching children develop and grow, and even better, helping with a small part of their journey, means a lot to me. I was employed by an well known nanny agency based in the UK and I was referred to as a 'twin specialist'. All three nanny positions I held in the UK had a set of twins; one of the families very well known in the celebrity world too! Maybe I am drawn to twins because I am also one! I am essentially interested in helping as a night nanny primarily, but would love to hear from you if I can help in other ways we can discuss. Thank you again for your time. If you would like to chat further, please shoot me through a message and i will get back to you asap. Have a great day!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Mykenzi, and I’m a 21 year old Interior Design student with a genuine love for children. While I’m still building my experience in babysitting, I have experience caring for children, including neurodivergent children, and I really enjoy getting to know each child’s individual personality, interests and needs. I understand that every child is different, and I’m very patient when it comes to helping children feel comfortable, understood and safe. I’m friendly, easy going, responsible and creative, and I love keeping children entertained through drawing, arts and crafts, games, reading, imaginative play and outdoor activities. I enjoy coming up with activities that suit each child and their interests, whether that’s getting creative, playing outside, baking or simply spending time together. I’m also happy to help with homework, prepare simple meals, follow routines and assist with light household tasks. I’m also a huge animal lover and am very comfortable around pets. I’m more than happy to include pets in my care, whether that means feeding them, giving them some attention or simply making sure they’re comfortable while I’m looking after the children. I’ve always loved being around children and have wanted a big family of my own one day, so caring for children is something I genuinely find rewarding. I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident with the person looking after their children, and I would always treat that responsibility with care and respect. I’d love the opportunity to meet your family, get to know your children and become someone you can feel comfortable relying on!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Thank you for your interest and consideration on me. My name is Miluska, I have qualified and formal education and experience in Special and Disability Education (also Community Welfare and Aged Care). I am a teacher (Bachelor Degree) for children with special needs (in Perú we named it: "Special Education Teacher"); also Nanny/AuPair with several and wide capacitation, trainning and experience (covers CPR, pool lifesaver, basic physical rehabilitation, first aid, pets care; activities as handicraft, bakery and others). I would like to work with babies, pre-kinder children and toddlers but on my among previous tasks and experience I have had the opportunity to take care children up to 12 years old. Everyone is unique and important besides,my background makes it possible and that makes me feel happy, confident and sure about my vocation and love for teaching and sharing with children every day. Prior to my arrival to Australia in 2007, I’ve been working as a Teacher of Special Education in Lima (Peru), focusing in early stimulation, behavior development and rehabilitation; as well performing as volunteer with several institutions like Association of Special Olympiads of Peru (for 9 years). I believe that my teaching experience (as a specialist helping and educating children and young people suffering from Autism and Down syndrome) has provided me with invaluable insight into interpreting the learning and emotional needs of individuals in general and specially babies and toddlers. I received my Diploma IV of Community Welfare in Community Services in April 2010 and Certificate III of Aged Care in December 2010 and as part of my studies in Australia, I completed a number of placements at aged care facilities, including Sacred Heart Mission and Hambleton House. As well, I’ve been performing job positions working with babies and toddlers for long periods of time. I would like to meet you and show you my patience, kindness, strength, dedication and energy that I could share with your children and with all of you. I feel that the basis for a teacher/ nanny and/or aupair is always a professional point of view. I am peruvian and actually living in Victoria (but my grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and Germany, so educated in both ways: with responsibility and affection). I would like to have the opportunity to meet you and demonstrate you the type of person that I am. Among many other things I can teach your children spanish, handicraft, pastrymaking, etc. Please, allow me to introduce myself to you and try to know me. Kind regards. Miluska Dusek
