I am very independent and have always been, I grew up with 2 brothers with disabilities. One of my brothers has severe autism and my other brother had severe Cerebral Palsy. I grew up babysitting both my brothers from the age of 12. When my parents had to go out of state, I babysat my brother for over a month alone. Whether it was Dropping him off at school, picking him up, bathing him, dressing him up, playing with him, making his lunch box, making meals, driving him around, putting him to bed etc. I did it all, him having severe autism is not easy at all but I could say I did a really good job at taking care of him and the house was left spotless clean and my brother was very loved and taken care of well. I've had many years experience working as a nanny and babysitter, including live-in sole charge, in Australia, UK , and Switzerland where in Geneva I was employed by a member of the Italian royal family. My professional background is in editing ,writing, advertising,and public relations so I am useful to help with homework. My minimum booking is 3 hours . I charge the equivalent of 3 hours fees for a day/evening cancellation that is made with less than 12 hours notice. This fee will be waived if a substitute booking, equal to the monetary value of the original booking, can be arranged to be worked within the next fortnight. My evening rate starts at 8 pm and the day rate resumes at midnight . I do not take work that involves using my car to transport children under 3. I charge 80 cents per km for the use of my car.
