I am a very experienced ex nurse and child carer/nanny. I am mature, no ties and have certificates and references. I have taken care of 2 girls on a regular basis for 9 years. I have previously cared part time for a 11 year old girl for seven years and a five year old boy in my home for 18 months. Ive also cared for a 9 yr old girl on the spectrum once a fortnight and a 13 yr old boy also on the spectrum once a week. I have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. I am looking for work in preferably south gippsland bass coast area but will travel if enough hours. Please note hrly rate can be negotiated but public holiday and sundays will be more.

As a relaxed mature mum who has a Diploma of Community Services employed as a Disability Support Worker and Education Access Worker; a Certificate III in Children's Education and Care working for YMCA and various other kindergartens throughout Gippsland and Mornington Peninsula. I will travel anywhere if its more than 50 kms from Drouin as long as its at least 7 hours babysitting. I have experience in child care centres, with various different families of all cultures and family court orders. I am flexible with times and days to suit you. I am confident, calm, and trustworthy with excellent communications to chatting to a new born when changing nappies and clothes to explaining why teddy's loved so much to throwing balls at hoops or cycling in the park, down the beach, in the garden or playing cards, blocks and a champ at video games! I like the outdoors and I am on a few committees locally. I've worked in child care centres on the Mornington Peninsula, Drouin, Malvern, Melbourne CBD, for various companies, for families as Au Pair, Live in Nanny, Day Nanny closer to home, assisted but not done their homework, encouraged their creative outlets and run, jogged, cycled or swum with most age groups and nationalities. Previously I was a Governess with School of the Air Teacher from pre-kinder to Grade 6, and mixed group families to being a Housekeeper, caring for children's laundry, bedrooms and bathrooms, prepared meals, take the dog for a walk, groom cat or guinea pig and got eggs from their chooks. Or feed poddy cows or horses and willing to assist Single Mums, Dads or Carers with newborns so they get that much needed sleep Last job was in Emerald caring for three children while their parents attended a wedding at the same venue.
