My name is Miluska, I have qualified and formal education and experience in Special and Disability Education (also Community Welfare and Aged Care). I am a teacher (Bachelor Degree) for children with special needs (in Perú we named it: "Special Education Teacher"); also Nanny/AuPair with several and wide capacitation, trainning and experience (covers CPR, pool lifesaver, basic physical rehabilitation, first aid, pets care; activities as handicraft, bakery and others). I would like to work with babies, pre-kinder children and toddlers but on my among previous tasks and experience I have had the opportunity to take care children up to 12 years old. Prior to my arrival to Australia in 2007, I’ve been working as a Teacher of Special Education in Lima (Peru), focusing in early stimulation, behavior development and rehabilitation; as well performing as volunteer with several institutions like Association of Special Olympiads of Peru (for 9 years). I believe that my teaching experience (as a specialist helping and educating children and young people suffering from Autism and Down syndrome) has provided me with invaluable insight into interpreting the learning and emotional needs of individuals in general and specially babies and toddlers. I received my Diploma IV of Community Welfare in Community Services in April 2010 and Certificate III of Aged Care in December 2010 and as part of my studies in Australia, I completed a number of placements at aged care facilities, including Sacred Heart Mission and Hambleton House. As well, I’ve been performing job positions working with babies and toddlers for long periods of time. I would like to meet you and show you my patience, kindness, strength, dedication and energy that I could share with your children and with all of you. I feel that the basis for a teacher/ nanny and/or aupair is always a professional point of view. I am peruvian and actually living in Victoria (but my grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and Germany, so educated in both ways: with responsibility and affection).
