Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au pair

Hey! My name is Hailey and I currently have moved from the South East and now live in Beulah park. I previously have cared for a one year old twice a week and worked on my parents farm. My love for working with kids started off by watching my older siblings babysit after school hours for kids in our community. I could tell how much enjoyment they got out of doing it. From then I decided to follow their footsteps. As I reached high school my older siblings had moved to Adelaide for school in which I took over and started babysitting the same kids. I realised I had a massive passion for working with kids and helping out families. I then moved to Adelaide and finished off my school years at Pembroke. After settling in to my new school and the city life I started babysitting after school hours for my adorable boy cousins who were aged 5 and 7 at the time. I absolutely love working with infants and toddlers, but I babysit children of all ages. When I'm not babysitting or working I love baking, visiting extended family, swimming and keeping fit. I consider myself to be a very well organised, reliable and enthusiastic individual. I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm a primary school teacher - available full-time during school holidays. Availability negotiable during school term. I have a passion for working with children and love to help them learn, grow and experience the wonders of the world. I have over 10 years experience working with children from 1.5-13 years of age in a variety of roles such as: a nanny for three separate families, in home educator for a child with Cerebral Palsy, live in Au-Pair for two separate families (Germany and Switzerland), ad-hoc babysitting for various families and currently as a Primary School teacher for over 5 years. I also have some experience with babies, I helped out for a month when my nephew was just 3 weeks old, then again from when he was 6 months old, when they moved back to Australia. When the weather permits, I enjoy going outside with the children, exploring nature, playing at the playground, kicking a ball around the grass and playing hide and seek. I believe children are naturally inquisitive learners and take a hands-on learning approach, allowing children to learn and explore safely themselves whilst actively supervising close-by if they need any help or reassurance. Personally I am a keen cook and baker and would happily cook family meals, prepare lunch box snacks and children's meals. Although eating and cooking meat myself at home, I have strong knowledge of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets and cooking tasty and nutritious food accordingly. If your children are interested in being in the kitchen, I'd happily cook meals with them, introducing them safely to how to move about a kitchen. I really enjoyed my previous days working as a nanny, where the little 1.5y/o boy would run to the door when I arrived, cuddling me around the legs eager to start playing and reading books. Making blanket forts on rainy days and cooking healthy treats together. Going to the local park and petting dogs together. I look forward to helping future families with their little ones. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to email through my CV, contact details for referees and relevant documents to potential families. If needed, I am open to negotiating my fee dependent on various factors. Payment in cash is appreciated at the end of each shift.

Looking for: Part-time

My name is Arwen, I am 43 and mother to a 15 year old. I used to work as a nanny for years before my daughter was born, caring for children from newborn to primary school age. I grew up in Germany and I trained there as a Childcare assistant and in Paediatric Nursing. I currently study counselling and I also run my own business as an artist (I love making all sorts of art with children!) Over the past year I have worked as a nanny for a wonderful family, looking after their three year old and occasionally helping Mum with the baby but sadly they have just moved overseas. I will be working as a nanny on Fridays from June onwards and I would like to support another family this year! I am available for one day per week, on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I love reading books, going to the playground, cooking and baking, playing games, making art and all the other magical and exciting things young children like to do. There is little to no screen time with me, I really like to offer age-appropriate activities for children while also creating space for unstructured play. While I don’t have one particular parenting style I do overall apply “sturdy parenting” principles with the children I look after. This means always being respectful of their feelings and emotions while maintaining clear boundaries. I am more than happy to do light housework and I love pets! I do not drive but I can easily get myself to your home. I have recent references, a Working With Children check, police clearance and First Aid training. I am reliable, responsible, punctual and will keep your little ones safe. I look forward to hearing from you!
