Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m an 18 year old psychology student at the University of Queensland! I am eager to do some childcare work as I study and would love to help out families in any way I can. I often babysit my young cousins and have experience looking after the younger kids at sport. My capabilities extend from caring for the children, helping them with homework, to everyday household chores. I have a valid blue card and am planning to undergo First Aid and CPR training. I am also willing to obtain a police check.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have worked in childcare since I was 16 and have been assistant in a nursery, Early Childhood Teacher and a lead in the Toddler room. I love children and have made lasting relationships with them where I have been lucky enough to look after them in nursery and see them again in Kindergarten. I babysit for past families from daycare and have become regulars for them all as they trust me and love having me around. I have my first aid, Blue Card, A car seat for my own vehicle, and my Bachelor in early childhood education. I have taken a step away from childcare to refocus on study and take a new path for my future. I am wanted to still making meaningful and loving connections with families and still be able to complete my studies. If you have any question I would love to hear from you!

Over the past year, I have spent extensive time tutoring and babysitting children at a boarding school, an experience I genuinely loved and found incredibly rewarding. Working closely with kids has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment. I am a bubbly, confident, and naturally positive person who brings energy and enthusiasm into everything I do. I have a large family with two younger brothers and lots of little cousins. I am usually the one left in charge of them and my extended family have asked for my help looking after their kids while they're busy (they're around 5-8 depending on the cousin). I have a planned course to go into primary education first through TAFE and QUT, but due to personal and family matters, I am getting some work experience first.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a recent university graduate in Paddington, Brisbane. As the youngest member of my family, I have always wanted younger relatives, which led to my passion for childcare. I greatly enjoy brightening people's days and making their lives easier. My other passions include reading and creative writing. I have high enthusiasm and energy, but I also know when it's time to settle down. I am punctual and respectful, I follow any given instructions carefully and ask questions to clarify any grey areas. I don't mind long bedtime routines in the slightest, and housework is no issue. I love to have fun and play games! My speciality is story-telling. I have even written a children's book for The Kids' Cancer Project! I am fair with children and reward their honesty. In January 2018, I began caring for a newborn girl. In October, her mother had twin girls who I also cared for. They were three months premature, causing the oldest twin to require oxygen tubes for some time. I cared for all three girls at once from newborns to ages three and four. I would feed them, change their nappies, get them to sleep, and entertain them throughout the day. In 2019 I took on a fourth girl who was one year old. My work included feeding her, changing her, bath time, dressing her, picking her up from daycare, putting her to sleep, and taking her out on day trips. For a short time in 2021, I cared for two brothers ages three and five. My duties included naps, bath time, meals, playtime, and days out. Halfway through 2021, I began caring for an eleven-year-old girl through to her twelfth birthday in early 2022. Her mother is off work for the time being, so I was no longer needed. My duties included school pick-up, chore checking, making dinner, homework help, and dishwashing. From January to February 2022 I cared for a nine-month-old boy. This position was short because the family were staying in the state only temporarily due to housing trouble. My duties included feeding, playtime, naps, baths, and assistance with learning to crawl. I have cared for many more children in short-term positions as seen on my resume. In 2022, I moved away from home and worked as a stablehand in the hinterlands. I've now moved to Brisbane and am returning to the nanny industry.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi families! I just graduated from university and am here on a working holiday visa from the U.S. since November. I have experience doing in-home care for children 4 months-5 years and feel comfortable helping out with any age! I studied psychology in uni and focused heavily on child development courses and did a teaching course with placement in a preschool. I have also worked at a recreation center for after school activities for school-aged children. I like to have fun and do activities but I'm always up to help cook, clean, homework etc. I am planning to apply for a masters program here in Australia to become a child therapist but for right now, I would love to keep working with kids in some way. My most recent job was care work at a program for intellectually disabled men with behavioral issues who needed help cooking, cleaning, reading/writing, having appropriate behavior, and going on fun outings!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a caring and responsible adult who enjoys supporting children to feel safe, valued, and encouraged. Growing up in a rural community and as one of four children, I’ve interacted with kids of all ages and understand the importance of community in a child’s development. I’ve coached MiniRoos soccer teams and love spending time with my niece, helping her learn, explore, and stay active. Being school captain taught me to balance the needs of students, rules, and parents, and I now bring that same sense of responsibility and understanding to my work with children. I strongly believe it takes a village to raise a child, and children are shaped by everyone around them, including their nanny. This type of work suits me perfectly, allowing me to balance study, work, and physical activity while being a positive influence in children’s lives.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hello! My name is Aada, and I’m a qualified and experienced childcare worker from Finland. I am currently seeking a part-time nanny position with a family looking for reliable, long-term support. I’m excited to offer trusted care and build meaningful relationships with a new family. With over six years of diverse childcare experience, I bring a safe, calm, and professional approach to every role. My patient, nurturing, and empathetic nature drew me to this field, and continues to guide my passion for work with children. I recently completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has strengthened my professional skills and knowledge as a nanny and educator. Since February 2025 I have worked as a casual educator as well as a part-time nanny. I have cared for, and feel confident with children of all ages, from 2 months old up to school age. In addition to working as an educator, nanny and babysitter over the past three years, I have also thought dance and gymnasts to little ones. My experience comes from both Finland and Australia. Recently, I have been focusing on building even more experience with infants, and I plan to further my studies in areas such as sleep training in the future. I have a strong childcare philosophy grounded in slow, responsive, and holistic care, playbased learning, and respectful, meaningful interactions. I value time in nature, limited or no screen use, and providing children with supportive structure and routine. Upon request, I can provide references, my Certificate III, Blue Card, and First Aid certificate (HLTAID012). I am flexible with days and times and would be available to start within a two-week notice.
