Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey! My name's Poppy. I'm currently a second-year university student studying a Bachelor of Fashion Marketing and Enterprise. My current (professional) work history includes looking after a 2-year-old little boy every Monday morning for a few months; a 14-month-old girl from 8am to 8pm once a week for a few months; a 5-year-old little girl every time I'm needed; and a 2-year-old girl when needed also. Alongside this, I consistently look after my two nieces (aged 4 and 3) and two nephews (1 and 8 months), specifically including taking them on walks, playing outdoors with them, putting them down for naps, changing nappies, feeding them (both food and bottles), and learning how to entertain them without screens as per their parents' requests. I am a naturally bubbly person and am often described as kind, maternal, funny, and energetic and have always had a tendency to have a natural bond with children. I am able to work any hour and any day of the week, as long as it doesn't collide with my part-time job at a local cafe (which differs in schedule every week). However, this shouldn't be too much of an issue, as I can work around this with my boss and only ever work mornings till 11am. I am 19, turning 20, and am on my Green P's, meaning there are no restrictions to passengers, etc. I am known to be a sensible driver and am willing to take kids to and from school, to extracurricular activities, and whatever else needs to be done. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi! My name is Lola, and I’m a first-year university student at QUT studying Business. I’m looking to get back into regular babysitting and would love the opportunity to help out a family while earning some extra money alongside my studies. I have experience babysitting my younger cousins regularly when they were around 4 and 6 years old, continuing until they were around 6 and 8, before they moved away about five years ago. I have also babysat casually for family and friends and really enjoyed being able to spend time with children and help out parents when needed. I’m a caring, patient and responsible person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I’m happy to get involved with activities, play games, help with homework, and keep children entertained rather than simply supervising them. I’m also comfortable helping with routines such as bath time, getting ready for bed and bedtime routines. I have a strong interest in cooking and have been cooking dinners for my family and baking since I was around 10 years old. I’d be more than happy to prepare simple breakfasts, lunches and dinners for your children, as well as help with tidying up after meals. I don’t currently hold a Blue Card, but I’m more than happy to apply for one if required. I’m also happy to provide references from families I have babysat for. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and become a reliable and trusted babysitter for your children. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I'm Erin! I'm a 33-year-old artist, environmentalist, and childcare worker with four years' experience caring for children from newborn to 8 years, in Australia and the UK. I hold three Bachelor's degrees in nursing, health science (paramedics), and environmental management, and bring a calm, safety-conscious approach to childcare alongside genuine warmth and patience. My general approach is guided by the principles of the Danish Way of Parenting, including play, authenticity, reframing setbacks, empathy, no ultimatums, and togetherness. I put a strong focus on age-appropriate nature-based play and creative expression through music, movement, and art. I love helping kids and young people explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence. I'm also confident with younger babies, including feeding, changing, bathing, napping, burping, and giggling, and would gladly support parents wanting a few hours' break! I take the time to understand each child's natural strengths, interests, and sensory needs, and shape our time together around them. This approach works well for all children, including those with low support needs (ASD/ADHD/AuDHD), as it centres on what genuinely engages and motivates them.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a mother of twin 32 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 33 years olds like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline & set routines.I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. And packing/unpacking the dishwaser, as long as it doesnt cut into time with the child. Thank you for reading, Jane
