Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I chose to become a babysitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and caring for them. Most of my experience is with children aged 3–12. I previously worked at an overnight summer camp, where I was responsible for children’s safety and wellbeing around the clock. My role required attentiveness, confidence, and the ability to build rapport quickly. I was trusted with handling night-time routines and unexpected situations independently. I’ve also worked as a swim teacher, which strengthened my focus on safety and clear communication with children. I care deeply about children and understand how important it is to foster an environment where each child feels like they can express themselves, enjoy their time and feel safe, supported and understood.

At nearly 25, I bring a vibrant blend of energy and seven years of professional childcare experience to my work. Having cared for children from six weeks to seven years old in both early learning centers and private nannying roles, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique developmental needs of every age. While I value the classroom environment, I am now seeking a return to one-on-one care to foster more meaningful, personal connections with a single family. Outside of work, I’m a true Queenslander at heart, I love the sun and the outdoors, usually spending my weekends catching up with family in Brisbane or heading to the Sunshine Coast to be in the sun by the beach!

Hi, I’m Rubi, originally from Argentina, and I truly adore children. Throughout my teenage years, I had the joy of caring for kids, and I continued doing so while balancing my studies. I also have over two years of experience caring for children here in Australia, which has allowed me to adapt to different family routines and needs. I work at a school as a sushi chef and I hold a valid Blue Card for working with children. I’m now excited to continue doing what I love while studying here. I’ve always had a special connection with children, and caring for them brings me genuine joy. More than just providing supervision, I focus on creating a safe, warm, and enjoyable environment. I’m happy to help with homework, creative activities, or simply being a calm and supportive presence. As of August 2025, I’m available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00/3:30 p.m., and on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the same time every second week. I’m also occasionally available on weekends, depending on the week. I’d be very happy to discuss what works best for your family.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, My name is Vanessa and I have been doing nanny, house manager and babysitting work for over 30 years. I have been a career Nanny for about 15 years and I am looking for a permanent nanny role. I need to redo my first aid/CPR/anaphylaxis certificate, but I do have have my blue card, criminal history check, traffic history report and reference contacts from my previous families. I am looking for a nanny role preferably on a long-term permanent part-time/full time basis (2-3 long days per week 30+ hours or permanent 4-5 days (40+ hours). I have done very long days previously (8-12+ hours per day), overnights and weekly work and can offer other hours to work around your schedule. I am looking for full days and no split shifts. I’d also be happy to do some casual work for the short term. I have experience caring for children of all ages and I am very reliable and create a fun and happy environment for all the family. I have lived in Brisbane all of my life and I have worked in a lot of different suburbs in and around Brisbane. I always use common sense around the house and clean up after myself and the children. I am willing to do light housekeeping (dishwasher, wipe down kitchen benches, children's washing and cooking etc) if time permits throughout the day (no heavy cleaning) but your children always come first. I am very flexible and can do long days, overnight stays and can usually do last minute emergency work if you need me to. I have always worked for professional families (Self Employed, Medical, Lawyers, Accountants etc) and I understand that a lot of flexibility and reliability is needed when being a nanny. Please note that I am happy to have a meet and greet interview with families. If a work 'trial' is required, my time is to be paid in cash (minimum 3 hours) on the day at the hourly rate. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. I am a very young at heart, fun, bubbly and caring person and love doing old fashioned care with children (reading, nursery rhymes, arts and crafts, outings, cooking and much more). I honestly put my heart and sole into all of my nanny work and can offer you long term stability. Ideally I would love a long term sole charge 1 child role, but I am open to other options. Thank you for reading my profile. Please contact me if you want further information.
