Looking for: Part-time

Hi! My name is Henriett. I am a teacher of German & Hungarian languages for 28 years and a tourist guide from Hungary. I arrived in Australia in 2020. I worked as German-Hungarian language teacher in a school in Hungary for 24 years. I teach here languages too, but mainly online so I like working as nanny too. In my freetime I like doing sport ( long walking with my husband, riding bike & horse), going to the theatre, learning languages and spending time with my nephwes and friends. I like outside activities by sunshine and snow too. I love Australia, just the birds are not my friends. Working as a nanny is very similar to my profession: caring, educating, teaching, playing, being creative, having fun. I think working with children can give you a lot of positive energy, as it is a fun, active and creative time.

Hi families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌺 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful 29 year old of my own. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. In my last 12 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15 !! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I tend to establish a good rapport with the young ones I care for which I find very rewarding. Children are so precious & truly a blessing to be cherished. Importantly I am pro-active with a 'can do' attitude & I have a keen eye for detail so nothing goes unnoticed! I am very safety-conscious so your childs welfare is of utmost importance to me at all times. I can be flexible with time & I am more than happy to work with you to suit you and your childrens ongoing needs. I also do pet-minding/house sitting (many years now since I was a young girl) & have had a dog walking/dog training gig too so I'm comfortable with all types of pets. I love all animals. 🤗 *Important to know...... I have had my car licence for 40 years & I'm a very cautious driver with a full licence & faultless record with Zero accidents & no demerits! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35-40 per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks so much for reading & have a lovely day! Sincerely yours Fionna

Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I have completed my high school education as a boarder in Melbourne in 2018. I grew up on a farm in south west New South Wales with my Mum, Dad, older brother, and of course my beloved Kelpie (Shane), Jack Russell (Bucy), cat (Marley) chooks and plenty of sheep! I think I have loved looking after children and babies since receiving my first Baby Born doll from Santa in 05’! I love watching them grow, play and learn and love the way in which they have the power to teach new things to us everyday. I have spent plenty of time with kids through babysitting jobs with various babysitting jobs with kids of all abilities and characters! I have been surrounded by little cousins and children of family friends for my whole life and understand the importance of feeling trust, peace of mind and happiness with whoever you chose as a sitter! In June, July and August of 2019, I worked as an Au PaIr in Italy. I cared for four children and lived with their family. It was a truly unique and wondrous experience that I have gained a wealth of experience and skills from. I love playing games, reading, chatting and caring for children and babies and believe I am a happy, organised, relaxed person with a big love for whatever job I have. I am more than happy to provide references if need be !

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm a primary school teacher - available full-time during school holidays. Availability negotiable during school term. I have a passion for working with children and love to help them learn, grow and experience the wonders of the world. I have over 10 years experience working with children from 1.5-13 years of age in a variety of roles such as: a nanny for three separate families, in home educator for a child with Cerebral Palsy, live in Au-Pair for two separate families (Germany and Switzerland), ad-hoc babysitting for various families and currently as a Primary School teacher for over 5 years. I also have some experience with babies, I helped out for a month when my nephew was just 3 weeks old, then again from when he was 6 months old, when they moved back to Australia. When the weather permits, I enjoy going outside with the children, exploring nature, playing at the playground, kicking a ball around the grass and playing hide and seek. I believe children are naturally inquisitive learners and take a hands-on learning approach, allowing children to learn and explore safely themselves whilst actively supervising close-by if they need any help or reassurance. Personally I am a keen cook and baker and would happily cook family meals, prepare lunch box snacks and children's meals. Although eating and cooking meat myself at home, I have strong knowledge of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets and cooking tasty and nutritious food accordingly. If your children are interested in being in the kitchen, I'd happily cook meals with them, introducing them safely to how to move about a kitchen. I really enjoyed my previous days working as a nanny, where the little 1.5y/o boy would run to the door when I arrived, cuddling me around the legs eager to start playing and reading books. Making blanket forts on rainy days and cooking healthy treats together. Going to the local park and petting dogs together. I look forward to helping future families with their little ones. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to email through my CV and relevant documents to potential families. Contact details for referees can be provided after meeting in person. If needed, I am open to negotiating my fee dependent on various factors. Payment in cash is appreciated at the end of each shift.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Au Pair

Hello, I’m Sandra – originally from the Netherlands and currently living in Portugal. I’m a professionally trained nannny and movement coach with over 15 years of experience, and before that, I was a modern ballet dancer. My background in dance deeply influences my approach to working with children – I bring creativity, body awareness, and playfulness into every day. Since 2010, I’ve been supporting families using principles inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and homeschooling. I’ve worked with children of all ages and abilities, including those with limited mobility, and still stay in touch with some of the kids I cared for more than 10 years ago. I’m a bit older than most au pairs or nannies, but with that comes a wealth of life experience, genuine interest, patience, and a whole lot of love. Why Australia? Because I’ve never been – and I’d love to explore your culture, connect with your way of life, and experience the creative climate. I’m passionate about nature – forests, the sea, animals, the outdoors – and I’d be thrilled to bring that into my work with your family. I’m available from May onward, depending on how quickly we can arrange the necessary paperwork like visas and flights. I’m open to stays ranging from 3 to 12 months. Looking forward to hearing from you! ( waving hand and smile) Warm regards, Sandra
