Hello! My name is Emily, I’m 19 years old and am in my second year of uni. I currently work at Kenmore South for PCYC doing before and after school care so I do have some prior experience working with children. Hi, I’m Natalie — the founder of Steady Nest, where I support families through practical help and babysitting. As a parent of three adult children and a grandparent, I understand the joys and challenges of raising little ones. I’ve also volunteered with the Mater Mothers Parent Aide Unit, offering reassurance to families as they settle in with a new baby. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, baking, cooking, arts and crafts, and walking our dog in nature. I’d love to meet your family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm a part time university student working casual in hospitality currently. Despite lacking in official qualifications/ much professional experience), I overall have a great amount of life experience with caring for children in my personal life and have also worked for Camp Australia participating in before and after school childcare in 2023. I love cooking, music, science (esp. biology). I am comfortable caring for children from ages 6 months> but would be happy to make the effort/ train to learn to take care of younger infants if required. While I don't have 100% confidence in my ability independently, I do have some experience with caring for neurodivergent children. I am willing to renew my CPR training + current First Aid in Childcare Setting if any parents need (last completed 2023).

Looking for: Part-time

Hello! My name is Aada, and I’m a qualified and experienced childcare worker from Finland. I am currently seeking a part-time nanny position (Wednesday/Friday) with a family looking for reliable, long-term support. I’m excited to offer trusted care and build meaningful relationships with a new family. With over six years of diverse childcare experience, I bring a safe, calm, and professional approach to every role. My patient, nurturing, and empathetic nature drew me to this field, and continues to guide my passion for work with children. I recently completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has strengthened my professional skills and knowledge as a nanny and educator. Since February 2025 I have worked as a casual educator as well as a part-time nanny. I have cared for, and feel confident with children of all ages, from 2 months old up to school age. In addition to working as an educator, nanny and babysitter over the past three years, I have also thought dance and gymnasts to little ones. My experience comes from both Finland and Australia. Recently, I have been focusing on building even more experience with infants, and I plan to further my studies in areas such as sleep training in the future. I have a strong childcare philosophy grounded in slow, responsive, and holistic care, playbased learning, and respectful, meaningful interactions. I value time in nature, limited or no screen use, and providing children with supportive structure and routine. Upon request, I can provide references, my Certificate III, Blue Card, and First Aid certificate (HLTAID012).

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, My name is Vanessa and I have been doing nanny, house manager and babysitting work for over 30 years. I have been a career Nanny for about 15 years and I am looking for a permanent nanny role. I need to redo my first aid/CPR/anaphylaxis certificate, but I do have have my blue card, criminal history check, traffic history report and reference contacts from my previous families. I am looking for a nanny role preferably on a long-term permanent part-time/full time basis (2-3 long days per week 30+ hours or permanent 4-5 days (40+ hours). I have done very long days previously (8-12+ hours per day), overnights and weekly work and can offer other hours to work around your schedule. I am looking for full days and no split shifts. I’d also be happy to do some casual work for the short term. I have experience caring for children of all ages and I am very reliable and create a fun and happy environment for all the family. I have lived in Brisbane all of my life and I have worked in a lot of different suburbs in and around Brisbane. I always use common sense around the house and clean up after myself and the children. I am willing to do light housekeeping (dishwasher, wipe down kitchen benches, children's washing and cooking etc) if time permits throughout the day (no heavy cleaning) but your children always come first. I am very flexible and can do long days, overnight stays and can usually do last minute emergency work if you need me to. I have always worked for professional families (Self Employed, Medical, Lawyers, Accountants etc) and I understand that a lot of flexibility and reliability is needed when being a nanny. Please note that I am happy to have a meet and greet interview with families. If a work 'trial' is required, my time is to be paid in cash (minimum 3 hours) on the day at the hourly rate. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. I am a very young at heart, fun, bubbly and caring person and love doing old fashioned care with children (reading, nursery rhymes, arts and crafts, outings, cooking and much more). I honestly put my heart and sole into all of my nanny work and can offer you long term stability. Ideally I would love a long term sole charge 1 child role, but I am open to other options. Thank you for reading my profile. Please contact me if you want further information.

Hi, I am currently living at College in St Lucia enrolled in a double degree of a bachelor of Business and a bachelor of Fashion Design at QUT. I am originally from Sydney and have been doing babysitting there for the past 2 years, quite regularly. During this job, I would make the kids (aged 4, 7, and 9) breakfast, pack their bags and walk them to school every monday, tuesday and wednesday, and occasionally take them home from school and make them dinner when needed. I have also had causal babysitting jobs whenever my neighbours were going out to dinner or had an event on at night, which was very ideal and easy for me to do. I would love to have the same or similar type of job whilst living in Brisbane, and my schedule is white flexible during the weekdays as well :)

I am a motivated and reliable individual with a strong passion for working with children and supporting their development in safe, engaging environments. Through my previous experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills. During my time volunteering as a water polo coach at St Andrews Anglican College (my high school), I worked weekly with primary school students, helping them build confidence and develop new skills. This role strengthened my patience, leadership and ability to support children as they learn and grow. I further developed these skills while working in the United Kingdom as an Activity Assistant and Camp Leader with PGL Travel for 7 months. In this role, I supervised and supported children aged 6–18 during outdoor education activities such as rock climbing and team games. I was responsible for ensuring their safety, guiding them through activities, organising free-time games and helping create a positive and supportive group environment. I spent every day caring for them. This experience confirmed my passion for working with children and taught me the importance of adaptability, responsibility and positive role modelling. I currently hold a valid Queensland Blue Card and bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s wellbeing and development.
