Hi! I am an apprentice currently studying my Cert 3 in ECEC. At the moment, I'm looking for a permanent position 4-5 full days per week for a wonderful family and their children (even fur-babies!). I am happy to do light housework as well as caring for kids. I have mostly worked with children 1-6 years old so they are the ages I am most comfortable with. Of course i am happy to work with older children as well.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have worked with babies, toddlers and primary aged children in crèches 2014-2024. Parents and children would look forward to seeing me working in the creche. My manager at one creche had told me mums would phone to see if was working on the day they were coming in. I once was asked if I would relocate to be a live in nanny. Many times I was asked to babysit the children from the creche outside of creche hours and still do on occasions. Several times I filled in for my daughter’s nanny job as well while she attended uni commitments. I was given the responsibility to look after children overnight as well. I am 63 years young and despite the few wrinkles, young at heart and energetic. I have 2 daughters but not yet a grandmother. I love gardening, organising cupboards and quite enjoy craft activities. I am very reliable. I care for other children as I would my own, being a nanny is not just a job. I like to build relationships with the children and family. Children’s happiness and safety is the priority.

I have worked in childcare since I was 16 and have been assistant in a nursery, Early Childhood Teacher and a lead in the Toddler room. I love children and have made lasting relationships with them where I have been lucky enough to look after them in nursery and see them again in Kindergarten. I babysit for past families from daycare and have become regulars for them all as they trust me and love having me around. I have my first aid, Blue Card, A car seat for my own vehicle, and my Bachelor in early childhood education. I have taken a step away from childcare to refocus on study and take a new path for my future. I am wanted to still making meaningful and loving connections with families and still be able to complete my studies. If you have any question I would love to hear from you!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello parents! My name is Nina, I’m 20 years old and a stay at home mum to my daughter who turns 2 in May. I’m offering babysitting because working with children is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I have previously worked in daycare as an educator and also a centre chef. I did chose to eventually discontinue daycare work, I realised I much prefer the more personal side of babysitting, where I can give children my full attention and build a genuine connection with them. As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to have someone caring, patient, and trustworthy looking after your child. I’m very gentle, attentive, and love getting involved in play, learning, and making sure children feel safe and happy. I also have my daughter, who is very friendly, calm, and loves playing with other children. I am happy to babysit with or without her present, depending on what you are most comfortable with. She loves making little friends and it can be a really nice experience for children to play together. I am currently a stay at home mum looking to support my family while doing something I truly enjoy. If you are looking for someone reliable, kind, and understanding, I would love to chat and see if I am the right fit for your family. Feel free to message me anytime 🤍

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a mother of twin 32 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 33 years olds like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline & set routines.I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. And packing/unpacking the dishwaser, as long as it doesnt cut into time with the child. Thank you for reading, Jane

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I previously worked as an au pair in the United States, where I looked after the kids and helped with their daily routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework, playtime, and just the general flow of the household. I absolutely loved the experience. Spending that much time with children means you really become part of their world, and they become part of yours too. Something that means a lot to me is that I’m still very close with my host family. For me, working with kids rarely feels like a job, they really do become part of my extended family. I’m a pretty energetic and hands-on person, and I enjoy doing things with kids rather than just supervising, crafts, games, imaginative play, helping with homework, or getting outside and keeping them engaged. I’m also a very private and respectful person, and because I’ve lived and worked inside a family home before, I completely understand that balance families need, having someone help and support the household while still respecting their space and privacy. Since my au pair year I’ve continued travelling and living abroad, and I’ve been in Australia for a few years now. Those experiences have made me really adaptable and comfortable working with different families and routines.
