Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a warm, reliable, and patient person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I cared for one family’s daughter from 5 months old through age 2, which gave me strong experience with infant and toddler routines and development. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. I’ve also worked as a teacher’s assistant, so I’m confident balancing structure with play. I’m currently in Sydney on a working holiday visa, as my partner lives here, and I’m hoping to stay long term.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am a 21 year-old third-year Engineering student at UTS with around a year of nannying experience for children aged 8, 9, 13, and 14. I mostly helped with school pick-up, preparing afternoon tea and sometimes dinner, doing laundry/dishes, and taking the youngest two to afternoon activities such as swimming and gymnastics. I also taught piano to 4 children aged 5-7 for around 9 months while completing my final year of school (2022), so I am also well-equiped to take care of younger children. I really enjoy spending time with kids and I want to help them to have fun outside of school time and studying. I can also help with school work (maths, english, sciences) if your child needs extra help. Feel free to reach out, I hope I can speak with you soon!

I am a reliable, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I am passionate about developing my skills and knowledge while supporting children, families, and individuals in a positive, nurturing, and person-centred environment. I have worked with three different families, caring for children ranging from new born to 6 years old, and I am currently working with a wonderful nanny family who will be relocating back to the United Kingdom in the coming months. Through these roles, I have developed strong patience, adaptability, and an appreciation for routine, structure, and effective time management. My responsibilities have included feeding, supporting developmental milestones, encouraging community and social engagement, establishing and maintaining sleep routines, and ensuring each child’s safety, wellbeing, and individual needs were consistently met. Alongside my nannying and early childhood experience, I also work in disability support, providing person-centred care and assisting individuals with daily living, community access, personal care, and emotional support. This role has strengthened my ability to build meaningful connections, adapt to individual needs, and provide compassionate, respectful support while promoting independence and quality of life. I also worked predominantly in the baby’s room within an early learning setting, caring for children aged 0–12 months and 1–2 years. During this time, I completed my Certificate III, which further strengthened my practical skills and knowledge in early childhood care and education.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a dedicated and experienced nanny with over four years of hands-on experience supporting young children through the most important stages of their early development. My approach is deeply child-focused, grounded in a strong understanding of child development and a genuine passion for nurturing each child’s individual growth, wellbeing, and potential. I began my nannying career in Ireland caring for two boys aged just 3 months and 18 months. Supporting them from infancy through early childhood gave me invaluable insight into key developmental milestones, including attachment formation, language development, emotional regulation, and early social skills. I provided consistent, responsive care tailored to their evolving needs, creating a secure and nurturing environment where they felt safe to explore, learn, and develop confidence. As a qualified social worker, I bring a comprehensive understanding of child development theories and evidence-based practice to my work. This enables me to take a thoughtful and intentional approach to caregiving—supporting not only children’s physical needs, but also their emotional, social, and cognitive development. I am particularly attuned to the importance of secure attachments, positive reinforcement, and play-based learning in fostering resilience, independence, and self-esteem. I design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support developmental progression, from sensory play and early communication for infants to imaginative play, problem-solving, and social interaction for older children. My experience as a children’s soccer coach (ages 18 months to 5 years) and drama teacher (ages 7–12) has further strengthened my ability to support physical development, creativity, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and structured way. I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, understood, and supported as individuals. I take a person-centred approach, recognising that every child develops at their own pace and tailoring my care to meet their unique needs, interests, and personality. My goal is always to provide high-quality, developmentally informed care that supports children to thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively, while building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Carola, nice to meet you! I’m from Argentina, and I’ve been working as a nanny on and off since 2019. My first experience was with a family in Rosario, my hometown. I worked with them for two years. I took care of two children: one from age 3 to 5, and the younger sibling from newborn until age 2. I moved to Rio de Janeiro afterwards, and while I was living there, I also worked with several families—some with newborn babies, others with older children. I have experience taking care of siblings (I have looked after up to 3 kids simultaneously) and working with children from 0 to 8 years old. In my work, I really enjoy talking with the children, playing games or sports, going for walks, playing guitar (if possible and allowed), cooking…overall I like creating a fun, caring environment for them, always adjusting to the needs and personalities. I also have knowledge of healthy nutrition from the very first solid food (BLW/AC feeding), and I completed a first aid course. I’m currently living in Rushcutters Bay area and looking for either a regular fixed job or occasional babysitting work. For references, I have the contact details of all the families I have worked with and would be happy to share them with you so you can cross references with them and clear out any doubts you might have as of course I understand, choosing a caretaker for your kids It´s not a light task. In addition to English and Spanish, I too speak fluent French and Portuguese. I also have basic knowledge of German, Italian and Russian (meaning even though I cannot yet have a full grammar correct conversation I can effectively communicate with small children using simple though straightforward vocabulary) If you are interested in scheduling an introductory meeting, I would be happy to hear from you!
