I've been looking after kids since I was 14, starting out babysitting for families in my neighbourhood, and it's something I've genuinely always loved. With my first nanny family, I started when their daughter was just 5 months old and was with her until she turned two, so I got to be part of a lot of firsts! My second role was with a baby from 6 to 10 months, a gorgeous (and busy!) stage of development. The childcare centre work was a different experience again and taught me a lot about working with multiple kids and ages in a more structured environment. I'm First Aid certified and pretty adaptable in how I care for kids; some days call for messy play and running around outside, others are more about quiet time and cuddles. I just follow the child's lead and keep the parents in the loop so everyone's on the same page. I'm currently based in Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa. I've relocated here to be with my partner and am in the process of transitioning to a Partner Visa, so I'm looking to put down roots and find a family I can really settle in with and be a consistent, reliable presence for your kids.
