I am a very creative person, I love listening to music, watching movies, cooking, baking, doing pottery and occasionally reading. My childcare experience has involved both formal and informal types of care. I have volunteered in my church in Children's Ministry. I have been working for the company Team Kids for over a year now as an educator in before and after school care and vacation care. I thoroughly enjoy this role and am looking to extend my experience in childcare as I love caring for children. Within Team Kids I have become a qualified responsible person, meaning I sometimes run the service when necessary.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Gabby, I'm 19 and would love the Opportunity to contribute positively to you and your Family, helping out with whatever needs assisting. I recently completed a gap year in the UK, where I worked at an all-girls private boarding school in Cambridge. I primarily worked at the junior school as a teacher’s aide, supporting girls aged 3–11, including assisting students with learning difficulties, helping with sports, and supervising playground activities. Alongside this, I worked in the boarding house caring for girls aged 10–19, where my responsibilities included morning routines, serving meals, attending to medical needs, laundry, organizing weekend activities, supervising trips into town, and taking students to appointments. This experience helped me become responsible, adaptable, and confident in caring for children of all ages. One of the many highlights was taking the time to get to know students individually which was especially valuable because it helped me to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning styles. Overall this has sparked my interest to study Primary Teaching and hope to start practicing later on this year. I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive part of their growth and daily lives. I find it rewarding to help kids learn, feel safe, and have fun in a supportive environment. I’m patient, responsible, and caring, and I enjoy engaging children in activities like reading, playing, and helping with routines. I hope I can fulfill the role you are looking for and make a positive difference!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Parents! I am a professional, passionate & nurturing career nanny. I have over 17 years of experience caring for children aged 3 months to 7 years. I possess a thorough understanding of the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children. I used this knowledge to form strong connections and bonds with the children in my care. Over the years I have created & collected a huge collection of resources I use daily to educate and entertain the children i care for (eg. felt stories, puppets, craft materials, a very large variety of books, school readiness materials, games etc). I come packed each day with a large variety of educational activities to keep us engaged all day. I arrive prepared with pre-chosen resources to ensure the children's time is filled with a variety of fun, meaningful & educational activities & experiences. I align these preplanned activities/experiences with the child's unique interests, personality & stages of development. I provide a lot of project and inquiry based learning. If the child shows significant interest in a topic (such as dinosaurs, solar system, ocean animals etc) then I will foster their organic interest by providing a large variety of activities and experiences centred around that topic. For Oceans some examples are visiting the Australian Maritime Museum/attend thier preschool group called mini mariners where they learn about different topics while touring around the museum and then engage with books, craft, dress up, sensory items etc to further explore what they learnt on the museum walk. Koi fish feeding at The Chinese Gardens at 11am daily. Creating jelly fish hats with clear shower caps and streamers, bubble wrap painting and pasting sand to create a beach scene, shell painting, paper plate fish. Going to the local library and finding ocean books to borrow. Learning ocean songs I've downloaded to my phone (here is the sea, little shell, all the fish are swimming in the water, 3 jelly fish). Ocean felt board stories. Looking at YouTube clips of different sea animals. Magnetic fishing game, ideal for fine motor skill development (this game is found at most toy libraries). When the child starts to lose interest or when a new topic emerges, we begin focusing on the new theme. I regularly engage in professional development through workshops, webinars, personal reading & research to further widen my knowledge & skills. Please contact me for my resume and Childcare Portfolio. Kind Regards Danielle

Hi, I am a 60 year old retired grandmother who looks after her 3 year old granddaughter Tuesdays & Wednesdays from the age of 1-2 as my daughter (childcare Educator) went back to work part time. Since the beginning of last year my granddaughter started daycare and I have been looking after her before (drop off) and after daycare (pickup). I love looking after my granddaughter and helping my daughter so I thought it would be lovely to help out other families that might not have the benefit of an extended family to help out. I am a very maternal person and looking after children gives me a lot of joy.
