Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Zoe, and I am 21 years old. I currently work at a before and after school care centre, where I serve as an Assistant Coordinator. My primary responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of the children, fostering positive relationships with them, collaborating effectively with parents and carers, preparing and cooking meals, and guiding and supporting fellow educators in their roles. Additionally, I am responsible for the centre's programming and menu planning, which involves designing activities, creating recipes, and organising food, equipment, and craft supplies. In my current role at a before and after school care service, I have had three years of experience providing inclusion support for children with ASD and ADHD. This has involved creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment tailored to their individual needs. I have worked closely with these children to help them develop social skills, manage sensory sensitivities, and engage in daily activities at their own pace. I am currently pursuing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. Having grown up with a younger brother and engaging in local babysitting, I have developed a strong sense of responsibility and a keen awareness of children’s safety and welfare. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual, and adaptable, always completing tasks to a high standard. I am an effective communicator and work well as part of a team. Furthermore, I ensure to present myself professionally and appropriately for my role.

Growing up with a big brother, I always looked up to him—and now, I want to be that fun, caring, and reliable ‘big brother’ for the kids I look after. Hello Parents! I grew up in a tight-knit community, consisting of supportive families and their children. There were limited kids my age, so you would always find me chatting away with the adults or being chased after by my younger siblings and their friends in a game of tip! As I began to take on more responsibilities, I provided babysitting and cleaning services for these parents. This, in addition to growing up in a neurodiverse family (including myself) and later caring for my younger brother who has ASD, means I am responsible, understanding and patient. I love cooking delicious and healthy meals, keeping my space tidy and going on adventures! My hobbies include pottery, hiking, drawing, and reading (to name a few). Additional Info: I am in the process of getting a WWCC and have completed a successful Police Check. I have an NZ-restricted manual license and am first-aid certified.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, my name is Millie, I am a recent English Literature graduate and am hoping to find a family I can support in any way they need! I have over ten years of experience in childcare, have a valid WWCC and am 'HLTAID012 Childcare First Aid and CPR training'. I would describe myself as extremely kind, caring and compassionate whilst also being highly energetic, organised and attentive. I greatly value fun, joy and laughter; I am very passionate about childcare and the children entrusted into my care, with their safety and joy being of utmost importance to me. I would regard myself as gentle with strong leadership skills; I am also highly reliable and trustworthy - my previous role as domestic cleaner and house sitter relied on trust between the families and myself, My most recent role in childcare was as a children's educator at an 'OFSTED’ rated “Excellent” kindergarten in London for children aged 0-4 years old. I enjoyed working with a variety of ages within the kindergarten setting: working with the babies was a great learning experience in so many ways and I regard myself as highly competent when it comes to looking after babies and toddlers. I had previously volunteered weekly for a creche, worked as a 'Camp Counsellor' for a summer camp in America, and again for two different camps in the UK over a period of several years, amongst many other roles in childcare but working with the babies, toddlers and young children at the kindergarten allowed me to develop in a even more professional capacity. I am now highly competent when it comes to changing a baby, toddler or child safely, managing safe mealtimes for children of all ages, safely putting a baby, toddler or child down to sleep (and constantly monitoring them whilst they slept) and monitoring babies and toddlers whilst they play, allowing them to discover their surroundings independently whilst supporting them and constantly remaining vigilant to their movements, amongst many other areas of baby care. Furthermore, it was always so wonderful to see the children progress in their confidence, and supporting the parents in any way we could was so important to me. Constant communication with the parents enabled me to understand the children in our care, helping us to adapt in any way we could do accommodate the child’s needs whilst making sure they developed socially alongside their peers. I enjoy a range of sports, and consider myself to be a very sporty person; I was described by a previous employer at my most recent job as having ‘a constant abundance of energy and joy’ and at the nursery I worked at, I loved spending time being active in the garden with the children. I am also an extremely vigilant person and always regard the safety of a child/children in my care extremely highly; I previously worked as a lifeguard, and the role enforced for me the importance of being attentive, alert, aware and cautious in the workplace. I have a great passion for reading and encouraging young children to read and enjoy literature. Nourishing creativity in young children and young people is very important to me, and previous volunteering at the local church for an event named ‘Messy Church’ and helping out with ‘Kidschurch’ at the same church weekly, meant I was constantly able to improve on my ability to imagine new ways in which children could explore their own creativity through arts and crafts. I believe that all children deserve gentleness, kindness and a high level of quality care and I believe I can provide this!

My name is Léa Panis, I’m 23 years old, and I’m from France. I’ve been working with children since I was 16, whether in childcare, as a nanny, or with children with disabilities. This passion naturally led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology, which I completed in September 2023. In Australia, I worked for several weeks as a nanny for an Australian family, taking care of three little girls, one of whom was autistic. In addition to looking after the children, I also helped with household tasks such as cleaning and dishwashing. I also have a variety of other experiences, so feel free to ask me about them! Lea
