Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Isimbi. I’m a patient, easy-going babysitter who genuinely loves spending time with kids and getting down on the floor to be creative with them. I grew up in a big family and have been around children my whole life, and over the years I’ve gained several years of babysitting experience, so I’m very comfortable with kids of all ages. I’m a big baker and a huge fan of scrapbooking and DIY projects, so if your kids enjoy getting creative in the kitchen (and then eating the results), covering themselves in stickers and glitter, or planning activities based on your child’s interests, we’ll get along great. I’m responsible, caring, and fun, and I always put your child’s safety and happiness first. I’m more than happy to help with dinner, prepare healthy snacks, support bedtime routines, or help out with small household tasks to make your evenings easier. I can also teach your children some basic French in a fun and simple way if that’s something you’d like. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Media & Communications at the University of Sydney and living at college, which keeps me busy and deeply engaged in a vibrant community. Alongside my studies, I’m gaining industry experience through my internship at a PR and marketing agency, where I’ve been developing strong organisational and communication skills. Beyond that, I’ve always had a genuine passion for working with kids. With over 4 years of experience babysitting and nannying children aged 1–13, I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, punctual, and proactive. Growing up as the youngest of four siblings (with three older brothers!) taught me independence and responsibility early on—I often managed the household and quickly learned how to balance care with structure. I hold a driver’s licence and police check, and I now have more flexibility in my schedule to dedicate time to families who need ongoing support. On top of childcare, I also offer tutoring in primary and high school subjects, drawing on my academic background—achieving academic honours and top Band 6 results in my HSC through persistence and hard work.

I am a reliable, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I am passionate about developing my skills and knowledge while supporting children, families, and individuals in a positive, nurturing, and person-centred environment. I have worked with three different families, caring for children ranging from new born to 6 years old, and I am currently working with a wonderful nanny family who will be relocating back to the United Kingdom in the coming months. Through these roles, I have developed strong patience, adaptability, and an appreciation for routine, structure, and effective time management. My responsibilities have included feeding, supporting developmental milestones, encouraging community and social engagement, establishing and maintaining sleep routines, and ensuring each child’s safety, wellbeing, and individual needs were consistently met. Alongside my nannying and early childhood experience, I also work in disability support, providing person-centred care and assisting individuals with daily living, community access, personal care, and emotional support. This role has strengthened my ability to build meaningful connections, adapt to individual needs, and provide compassionate, respectful support while promoting independence and quality of life. I also worked predominantly in the baby’s room within an early learning setting, caring for children aged 0–12 months and 1–2 years. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Parents! I am a professional, passionate & nurturing career nanny. I have over 17 years of experience caring for children aged 3 months to 7 years. I possess a thorough understanding of the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children. I used this knowledge to form strong connections and bonds with the children in my care. Over the years I have created & collected a huge collection of resources I use daily to educate and entertain the children i care for (eg. felt stories, puppets, craft materials, a very large variety of books, school readiness materials, games etc). I come packed each day with a large variety of educational activities to keep us engaged all day. I arrive prepared with pre-chosen resources to ensure the children's time is filled with a variety of fun, meaningful & educational activities & experiences. I align these preplanned activities/experiences with the child's unique interests, personality & stages of development. I provide a lot of project and inquiry based learning. If the child shows significant interest in a topic (such as dinosaurs, solar system, ocean animals etc) then I will foster their organic interest by providing a large variety of activities and experiences centred around that topic. For Oceans some examples are visiting the Australian Maritime Museum/attend thier preschool group called mini mariners where they learn about different topics while touring around the museum and then engage with books, craft, dress up, sensory items etc to further explore what they learnt on the museum walk. Koi fish feeding at The Chinese Gardens at 11am daily. Creating jelly fish hats with clear shower caps and streamers, bubble wrap painting and pasting sand to create a beach scene, shell painting, paper plate fish. Going to the local library and finding ocean books to borrow. Learning ocean songs I've downloaded to my phone (here is the sea, little shell, all the fish are swimming in the water, 3 jelly fish). Ocean felt board stories. Looking at YouTube clips of different sea animals. Magnetic fishing game, ideal for fine motor skill development (this game is found at most toy libraries). When the child starts to lose interest or when a new topic emerges, we begin focusing on the new theme. I regularly engage in professional development through workshops, webinars, personal reading & research to further widen my knowledge & skills. Please contact me for my resume and Childcare Portfolio. Kind Regards Danielle
