Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au pair

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m based in Coogee and currently studying a Bachelor of Wildlife Conservation. Before this, I studied Social Work and Psychology, which gave me a strong interest in child development and creating a calm, positive environment for children. For the first two years of studying at The University of Sydney, I lived on campus at St Andrews College. I occasionally work as a babysitter through Juggle Street and have experience caring for children, helping with routines and homework, keeping them entertained and making sure they feel safe and supported. Before my mum became a police officer, she worked at Waverley Early Education Centre, where I would volunteer after school and help out wherever I could, which I absolutely loved. I have always been told I’m good with children and find it easy to connect with them. I have also worked at racing stables since I was 15. This has taught me to be extremely reliable, responsible, hardworking and calm in stressful situations. I’m very loyal and committed to the things I take on and always try to give 100% in everything I do. I’m very active and have played rugby, Oztag and touch football for many years, as well as competing at a national level in cross-country, so I love getting outside and keeping children active. I also have two dogs and a rabbit, who are my absolute world, and volunteer with WIRES caring for injured and orphaned native animals, so I’m very comfortable with family pets. I have a current Working With Children Check, my own car and a full driver’s licence. I’m patient, friendly, caring and genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping families wherever I can.

Looking for: Full-time,Au Pair

Hello! My name is Manel, I’m a 26-year-old French woman currently in Australia for a gap year after completing my studies in Paris. During my studies, I worked as a babysitter, and coming from a big family with 12 nieces and nephews, caring for children of all ages has always been a big part of my life. I’ve always naturally enjoyed being around kids and taking care of them. When I first arrived in Australia, I spent the first few months working in hospitality, but over time I realised how much I missed working with children, it’s truly where I feel the most comfortable and where I can bring the most value. After looking into different opportunities, I decided to apply here as I would love the chance to support a family, help with their children’s daily routines, and create a fun, safe and caring environment for them. I’d be happy to share more about my experience and would love to hear more about what you’re looking for. Thank you for considering my application !

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a highly dedicated and experienced childcare professional with a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth, development, and emotional well-being. I am excited to apply for the Nanny/Housekeeping role with your family, where I can provide nurturing and structured care while offering reliable household management and tailored family support. Having grown up in Randwick and now living in Maroubra, I am very familiar with the Eastern Suburbs, including its parks and beaches. I am an everyday driver, confident in safely transporting children to daycare, activities, or local outings. My car comfortably accommodates two baby seats and has plenty of boot space for groceries or toys that come along for the ride. My childcare journey began as an aerial coach for children aged 4–17, where I developed patience, mentorship, and adaptive teaching skills. This inspired me to complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and work as a full-time educator at Goodstart Early Learning, gaining hands-on experience in routines, developmental activities, and play-based learning. Since then, I have expanded into private nannying, supporting two families: one on a full-time basis with two boys aged 10 months and 3.5 years, and another on an ad hoc basis, caring for a girl aged 11 months and a 3.5-year-old boy. I am committed to fostering children’s independence, confidence, and emotional regulation through structured routines, guided autonomy, and engaging play. I also have experience supporting children with disabilities and special needs, adapting activities to create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments. Alongside childcare, I bring strong household management skills and a keen attention to detail, including meal preparation, laundry, organisation, scheduling, and maintaining a calm, tidy home. I take pride in anticipating family needs and ensuring the household runs smoothly, so parents can feel supported and at ease. I hold current First Aid, CPR, and SIDS qualifications, a P2 Australian Driver’s Licence with my own vehicle, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. I would be delighted to bring my energy, warmth, and organisation to support your children and household. Thank you for considering my application. I would love the opportunity to meet you and discuss how I can contribute to your family’s daily life, routines, and overall well-being.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, my name is Millie, I am a recent English Literature graduate and am hoping to find a family I can support in any way they need! I have over ten years of experience in childcare, have a valid WWCC and am 'HLTAID012 Childcare First Aid and CPR training'. I would describe myself as extremely kind, caring and compassionate whilst also being highly energetic, organised and attentive. I greatly value fun, joy and laughter; I am very passionate about childcare and the children entrusted into my care, with their safety and joy being of utmost importance to me. I would regard myself as gentle with strong leadership skills; I am also highly reliable and trustworthy - my previous role as a domestic cleaner and house sitter relied on trust between the families and myself. One of my more recent roles in childcare was as a children's educator at an 'OFSTED’ rated “Excellent” kindergarten in London for children aged 0-4 years old. I enjoyed working with a variety of ages within the kindergarten setting: working with the babies was a great learning experience in so many ways and I regard myself as highly competent when it comes to looking after babies and toddlers. I had previously volunteered weekly for a creche, worked as a 'Camp Counsellor' for a summer camp in America, and again for two different camps in the UK over a period of several years, amongst many other roles in childcare but working with the babies, toddlers and young children at the kindergarten allowed me to develop in a even more professional capacity. I am now highly competent when it comes to changing a baby, toddler or child safely, managing safe mealtimes for children of all ages, safely putting a baby, toddler or child down to sleep (and constantly monitoring them whilst they slept) and monitoring babies and toddlers whilst they play, allowing them to discover their surroundings independently whilst supporting them and constantly remaining vigilant to their movements, amongst many other areas of baby care. Furthermore, it was always so wonderful to see the children progress in their confidence, and supporting the parents in any way we could was so important to me. Constant communication with the parents enabled me to understand the children in our care, helping us to adapt in any way we could do accommodate the child’s needs whilst making sure they developed socially alongside their peers. I enjoy a range of sports, and consider myself to be a very sporty person; I was described by a previous employer at my most recent job as having ‘a constant abundance of energy and joy’ and at the nursery I worked at, I loved spending time being active in the garden with the children. I am also an extremely vigilant person and always regard the safety of a child/children in my care extremely highly; I previously worked as a lifeguard, and the role enforced for me the importance of being attentive, alert, aware and cautious in the workplace. I have a great passion for reading and encouraging young children to read and enjoy literature. Nourishing creativity in young children and young people is very important to me, and previous volunteering at the local church for an event named ‘Messy Church’ and helping out with ‘Kidschurch’ at the same church weekly, meant I was constantly able to improve on my ability to imagine new ways in which children could explore their own creativity through arts and crafts. I believe that all children deserve gentleness, kindness and a high level of quality care and I believe I can provide this!

Hello, potential employers! With 20 years of experience working with children of various ages I'm a person that will leave you with peace of mind when I care for your family. I'm a mature, yet young-at-heart and active Australian nanny who is well-travelled and cultured.
