I've also spent 1.5 year`s in Chile, volunteering in a childrens' orphanage. Fun, active, kind, reliable and well organised. When I'm looking after children, I like to engage/participant with them rather than looking at my phone (I'm not on social media!). A believer in 'old school' play/education, ‘adventure’, laughter and cuddles (for toddlers). Hello Families, My name is Kendall Alcorn, and I am a Diploma-qualified educator with nearly four years of experience in the childcare industry. I am passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow through their interests. Building meaningful connections with children and families is something I truly cherish and find incredibly rewarding. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working as a Room Leader in both nursery and toddler rooms across two childcare centres. These roles have provided me with valuable experience in fostering strong relationships with families and helping children thrive in their development.

I'm a mature aged Mum, Widow and a Career Nanny. As a mother of an Adult son who has special needs I have had years of hands on experience with behavioural, developmental, speech, routine, fine and gross motor skills. My car is fitted with child restraint and booster seats. Over the years as a Nanny I have cared for children from 2 week old premmie twins to 15 years of age for twins, triplets, sole child or multiple children. The care has been in the children/s home including overnight or at an allocated venue depending on the family's situation. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and caring for children of all ages. My experience includes working with the parent/s on the child's routine, any strategies and dietary requirements. I'm also available for Pet and House sitting.
