I have two years of experience working in a primary school as a Student Learning Support Officer. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and understanding their needs. I am responsible, reliable and can create a fun and safe environment for them. I have great communication skills which help me connect with children and their parents. I am patient and can handle challenging situations calmly, ensuring that kids feel comfortable and secure. I am also creative and can come up with engaging activities to keep them entertained.

I am a very reliable, outgoing, trustworthy person, I have taken care of multiple children (family members/close friends) all different ages and am very good with children with extra needs. I am not qualified but have had previous work at a day care and have done a child care short course at tafe but mostly have had life experience.

I've also spent 1.5 year`s in Chile, volunteering in a childrens' orphanage. Fun, active, kind, reliable and well organised. When I'm looking after children, I like to engage/participant with them rather than looking at my phone (I'm not on social media!). A believer in 'old school' play/education, ‘adventure’, laughter and cuddles (for toddlers). As a mother of an Adult son who has special needs I have had years of hands on experience with behavioural, developmental, speech, routine, fine and gross motor skills. My car is fitted with child restraint and booster seats. Over the years as a Nanny I have cared for children from 2 week old premmie twins to 15 years of age for twins, triplets, sole child or multiple children. The care has been in the children/s home including overnight or at an allocated venue depending on the family's situation. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and caring for children of all ages. My experience includes working with the parent/s on the child's routine, any strategies and dietary requirements. I'm also available for Pet and House sitting.
