Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Mirelle. I’m a reliable, easygoing, and responsible nanny with over four years of experience working with children. I’ve spent that time working at a children’s gymnastics and yoga studio, as well as assisting in before and after school care, which has given me experience with a wide range of ages, personalities, and daily routines. I’m used to juggling different tasks - from keeping kids engaged and active, to helping with transitions, homework, snacks, and settling them at the end of the day. I really enjoy working with children and find it rewarding to support them in feeling confident, safe, and comfortable. I’m calm, organised, and dependable and I’m looking for a nanny role where I can be a consistent, caring presence for a family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear all, my name is Johanna, I am 25 years old and will be spending my final postgraduate semester in Sydney. I am originally from Berlin and really looking forward to calling Coogee my home until July this year. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I have worked as an au pair for over one and a half years in the United States and France, have more than seven years of babysitting experience, and grew up with three younger siblings. Being around children feels very natural to me, which is why babysitting would be the perfect part-time job for me. I am a warm, reliable and attentive person who truly enjoys spending time with children, whether that means playing, reading stories, helping with homework or simply being there. I would love to become a trusted and caring “big sister” for a family in Sydney. I am well organised, open-minded and always bring a positive, cheerful attitude. If you feel that we could be a good match, I would be very happy to hear from you. Warm regards, Johanna

Looking for: Part-time

Hi everyone! I’m a pediatric dentist from Belgium with five years of experience working with children. My husband and I moved to Sydney in January ‘25 and plan to stay for the next two to three years. While I’m not currently practicing dentistry here, I miss spending time with children and now have the flexibility to do so. I’ve babysat often for my nieces, nephews, and friends’ children, and feel very comfortable (also love!) caring for little ones. My husband is a pediatrician, so we both have a strong background in children’s health and well-being. I especially enjoy working with children aged 1–5, though I’m happy to care for other ages as well. I’m hoping to connect with a lovely local family who could use an extra pair of hands once or twice a week. I’m not looking for a full-time role, and ideally it would be somewhere nearby Coogee for convenience.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m 23 and originally from Wales, and I’m currently in Australia on a working holiday visa after travelling the amazing East Coast. I’m excited to settle for a while and continue doing the work I love most, caring for children and becoming part of a family’s support system. I’m a very active person and love running, swimming, hiking and yoga. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll usually find me reading, journaling, baking or cooking. These are all activities I enjoy sharing with the children I look after, whether that’s helping them build confidence in the water, creating nature-inspired adventures, baking something fun together, or winding down with a calm storytime. I’ve babysat locally at home for a range of ages, from toddlers to early teens, which taught me how to adapt to different personalities and needs. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to be an au pair in Paris for an 8-year-old girl. It was a life-changing experience that helped me grow a lot as a carer, from navigating routines and school schedules to supporting her emotionally while living abroad. I’m still in close contact with the family, which I think reflects the strong, genuine bonds I build with the children I care for. What’s most important to me is creating a relationship that feels sibling-like in warmth, but also clear in boundaries and respect. I love sharing my interests and passions with children, and equally love learning from them, whether it’s discovering their hobbies, exploring their imagination, or supporting their unique personalities. I believe a nanny and child should both learn from each other and grow together. I consider being a nanny a fundamental role in a child’s development. You become part of their everyday world, their memories, and the little moments that shape who they are. I always aim to leave a positive impact, create a safe and happy environment, and bring calm, fun, and kindness into their routines. I’d love the chance to bring that same energy and care to a family here in Australia.
