I have experience working with children of various ages, and I love seeing how they develop, learn, and grow every day. My focus is always on creating a balanced routine that allows them to explore their creativity, learn new concepts, and, of course, have fun through psychomotor and sensory activities. I consider myself a responsible, loving, and patient person. I enjoy hands-on activities, reading, art, and outdoor games, which are my favorites for fostering their skills. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Naomi! I'm a passionate and experienced babysitter (~8 years of experience), and I'm eager to contribute my bubbly personality, reliability and expertise to families in Sydney! Originally from Seattle, I moved to Sydney nearly 3 years ago from Japan, where I completed my Psychology degree with a focus on cross-cultural youth mental health. In Japan, I worked as a long-term sitter for Japanese, American, and French-Canadian children aged 9 months to 7 years old, as well as a children's English teacher. Back in Seattle, I also co-taught mindfulness lessons in elementary schools. I bring playfulness, patience, and dedication to the children I care for, and value building authentic, collaborative relationships with the families I work with. If you think I'd be a great fit for you, feel free to reach out and let's connect!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, I'm a fun but responsible carer with a lot of experience, at now 36 I haven't had my own litter yet, but I have cared for my nephews and nieces at all stages of their lives when I'm visiting home (NZ). One of my nephews is autistic but vocal, we have a lot of fun playing with Lego and he takes his medication when aunty beck says its time. I have also cared for many young and older kids years ago when I was in my late teens, I have them on facebook...scary thought to see them now having their babies, no idea where the time has gone. I also work as a pharmacy technician on Mondays and Fridays; I've held a first aid certificate many times through my 10 years in pharmacy, but I will need to update it soon. I have room for three in my reliable car due to not having a middle seat belt in the back, I have a current police check. I'm able to cook planned meals and help out with reading, homework etc. In my free time I run a small artisan jewelry business and sculpt miniature figures, I also like making all sorts of art. My approach to caring for kids is to be friends with them and take interest in what they like rather than being the bossy lady. Their safety is of course important to me at all times even if they're tucked up in bed, I always check up on them. Pet friendly and don't mind cleaning up after animals, sorting out litter boxes... I'm a bit of an all-rounder. I can provide character references from work colleagues, being a NZ citizen means I'm here for a long time and will most likely see your kids grow up with you. I hope that covers everything but feel free to send through any questions.
