Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a mature 67 year old female looking for some additional work after recently closing my business in Kingston, which was a Lifestyle retail store. I am currently employed on a casual basis, and have been for just over six (6) years with the ACT Government, in the Cultural Facilities Corporation, at the Canberra Theatre Centre. My availability for this position is self managed, and therefore I can be flexible with my current working commitments, allowing me the opportunity to find some additional work. I still have plenty of energy and strive to keep myself busy and active in life and have an excellent driving history with many years of experience. Prior to moving to Canberra in 2021, I was self employed in a business in Thredbo for 19 years.

I'm an experienced caregiver who's supported Canberra families for the last 3 years, working with kids aged 2-12 — including neurodivergent children and those with additional needs. Whether it's the morning rush (waking them up, breakfast, getting dressed, out the door on time) or the afternoon stretch after school (homework, activities, keeping things calm until you're home), I'm there to support the routine and make things easier. I'm also a qualified swim teacher, comfortable running water play and teaching basic swim skills in home pools — a bonus for families who want more than someone watching from the side. Parents are often surprised at how naturally kids open up to me — I bring patience, consistency, and genuine presence.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I’m an 18‑year‑old first‑year university student and a casual teacher with a genuine love for working with children. I’m reliable, patient, and energetic, and I bring both practical experience and a caring attitude to every family I work with. I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities and supporting kids’ learning and routines. I’m confident with all ages and always aim to make children feel safe, happy, and understood. I’d love to support your family whenever you need an extra set of hands. Right now, I’m looking for casual, once‑off jobs or occasional work — things like helping out every second week or whenever you need an extra set of hands. My schedule changes week to week because of uni and my café job, so I’m not able to commit to regular mornings unless I have plenty of notice. The best way to organise something is to contact me for specific times, and I’ll let you know my availability. P.S., I am also a great cook!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name's Georgia! I am in my forurth year of university, and have experience both as a babysitter and a tutor! As a babysitter during the covid era, a lot of my initial babysitting experience came from offering to take the children in my neighborhood to the park or to other outdoor activities during the day to give their parents a break while they had to work from home. I learnt a lot from this experience - I sometimes was looking after upwards of 5 kids from the ages of 4 to 12, so learning how to keep them all engaged, safe and happy was very essential. Most of my experience post-covid was mostly looking after children within one family. I've mostly babysat for families with 2+ kids, and am comfortable with getting dinner on the table and putting the kids to bed. One of my favourite things about babysitting is getting to know the children over time, so if you're looking for a more consistent babysitter rather than a one-off, I'm happy for that as well!
