... and live-out nanny. WWVP card registration no: 96757 exp's 14/07/2029. Equivalent to NSW WWCC. Mature with long term experience educating & caring for my own children, other's in childcare centres or as a live out nanny in their homes. Up until very recently cared/ring for a young baby part of 2 days a week & another baby 3-4 hours some week days. Both families need for care has wound back. Still on stand by to do odd days on a day or so notice. Now available 2 week days a week. Not available weekends, Friday or Saturday nights, each year have numerous/blocks of days off in Dec & Jan. Always not available public holidays & the day after new years day & 2 weeks early-mid February each year. Specificly in 2024-2025 not available: 13-16/12/2024 18/12/2024 24/12/2024 - 06/10/2025 30/01-09/02 & Possibly 1 day either side of 15-16/02. Previously worked as a qualified/childcare educator in childcare centres mostly 2007-2023. Wishing to add mimimal hours working as a nanny/day-time babysitter. I have transported children to & from after/school activities in my or supplied by families cars with supplied child car seat/s. In 2024 I care/d for babies for 2 seperate households during daytime hours. Combined was approximately 20 hours a week. Would like to reduce this back to 12 hours per week in 2025. In 2023 I did school pick ups & cared for a 6yr old & their 9 yr old sibling a few afternoons a week similar to my (lower down the page) 2022 family. Over the 2022 school year, I regularly worked as a live-out nanny for a 4yr old & 6yr old siblings. I cared for the 4yr old at least most of one day a week & drove her to her daytime activities, some days dropped off/or picked up both from pre/school & drove both to daytime/after school swimming lessons. Was approx 20 hours/week. I encourage/join in with card/board games, make available indoor activities such as art, sewing & craft. Able to bring my sewing machine to your home heavily supervised. I discourage screen time. Very open to your ideas of extracurricular activities. Once I know your family & your local area I am confident to make suggestions to you to extend local outdoor activities I could be involved in with your child/ren. Very capable & willing to assist with homework. I have parent, personal & work referees. Still on call to do the odd school pick up/Fri or Sat late afternoon til late evening care for my 2024 & 2022 families. We have remained close friends. My family & I are still very outdoorsy. We have a large vegetable garden. At the time took our children, now adults, camping, bicycling, on picnics on remote river banks & on long caravan road trips. As far as I am concerned there is no such thing as bad weather as long as you have the appropriate clothing (except of course the extreme outdoor sun & heat of summer.) Would do indoor activities in these instances. Love to jump in puddles or mud, go for long walks to local playgrounds or transport children to outdoor destinations. Would love to hear from you to discuss the care requirements of your child/ren.
