We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. Our eldest daughter is five years old and attends a local primary school - pick up from school by nanny not essential but would be helpful to have as a back up. We also have an eight year old greyhound who is very placid and sleeps all day.
Hours are also somewhat flexible but need to cover at least between 8:15am and 5pm on both days. We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to the position for at least 12 months.
We would also like to ensure that there can be a 1-2 week period of shadowing prior to mother's return to work on 26th of May.
Up-to-date first aid qualifications, WWCC, non-smoker and driver's license are a must for us.

My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must have an early child care qualification eg cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school. Hanging with the kids after school – playing, helping with homework, and taking them to activities

I live in South Yarra so we have access to all public transport within minutes, restaurants, CBD, etc. You will also have access to pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym facilities should you wish to do so before or after work.
I have a 1 year old and if you do not have experience that is okay as I train people how to work with kids and babies as a living.
Duties will include playing with baby, tidying up toys, diaper changes, meal prep, tidying up, cleaning bottles, walking dog. I typically do the feed, bath and bed with the baby but if I am unable to then I will get your help.
