We are looking for a reliable babysitter to help out two nights per week during school terms (Tuesday and Wednesday) and one to two full days during each school holiday period.
Caring for one 9 year old girl who attends Sandringham Primary, the job involves pick up from school, helping with homework, preparing her dinner and doing some light household chores to assist our family (such as putting washing on, folding child's laundry, packing / unpacking the dishwasher, picking up basic groceries from the supermarket on the way home).
On one afternoon, you will need to take her to swimming lessons locally, staying at the venue during the lesson and putting the washing on once back home.
We need someone reliable due to work commitments, you must be able to make school pick up at 3:30pm and be available to remain with her until 6:30pm. A car is essential due to the swimming lessons as it is not walking distance or easily travelled without a car.
She is a well behaved girl with good social skills and a keen interest in basketball, maths and arts. A babysitter that speaks Spanish or knows an instrument would be a bonus.

The role includes preparing breakfast for kids, getting them ready for the day, dropping off and picking up our daughter from kindergarten (700m down the road) and taking care of our Son (feeding, playing, putting to sleep for nap, taking out for outings to library, park, playgroups and classes). Other duties include preparing kids meals, packing Kindergarten lunchbox, laundry, unstacking and stacking dishwasher/keeping kitchen clean and tidy, keeping lounge room and kids rooms tidy (picking up toys etc). We have a cleaner 1 x per week so no deep cleaning is required but a light vacuum of living areas once a week or so between cleans is appreciated.
If it is preferred, we have a later start on Mondays and earlier finish on Fridays. We can also aim to have you finish earlier when we can get home earlier (between 5-6pm) however flexibility is preferred.
We have a car for you to use with the kids.

If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school. Hi, we're a young couple with a 6 month old who will be starting Daycare in May. We both work and have to leave for our jobs early in the morning. Looking for someone just for an hour in the mornings to look after our baby and walk her yo daycare which is just down the road ~ 8 min walk. Daycare starts at 7.30am. So will need help from 6.30-7.30am. 1 hr x 3 days a week. Prefer that she is walked to daycare and not driven.
