$36 per hour

Hi, I'm looking for a wonderful, responsible and warm caregiver to assist my children whilst I'm at work. I have an 8 year old boy, 11 and 13 year old girls who are all quite independant.

The right person will be looking for ongoing work with our family who is available non-regular hours spread over 6 days (no Saturdays). Most weeks will involve 3 to 4 days. Shifts are either early morning 6am to 8.30am or late afternoon/evening from approx. 4pm to 10.30pm. My roster is published 6 weeks in advance so you can plan ahead and around your other work or study commitments.

Ideally you will hold a Diploma or Cert in Early Childhood (or be studying towards it) and hold First Aid, WWCC and Police Check. Drivers licence isn’t necessary as long as you can get to and from Altona.
If this sounds like you, then please reach out to discuss :)

NEW! Ongoing 3 afternoons from school pick up to 6pm

Spotswood, VIC | 42 km

Job Details: Part-time

$35 per hour

Hi, we are looking for an ongoing amazing person to look after our two youngest children (6 and nearly 10) from school pick up (Yarraville) at our home (Spotswood, 10 min walk or 3 min drive!) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week from 330 to 6pm.

Our 10 yo has mild autism and ADHD and sometimes can be emotional, which is why we have opted down this path instead of continuing with after school care. He's highly sociable and no issue at all conversing with you. Our 6 year old can talk the ear off a donkey and is full of beans in a very positive way.

Both are sporty, great with reading and playing. They don't have screen time during school days/nights so they like to get outside or do craft etc.

If you can give them some snacks, potentially throw a dish in the oven for dinner and get them ready for sport (which is at 6 all three nights! Soccer) that would be amazing.

We do have a very friendly groodle, so you would ideally be dog friendly (and we have 2 rescue cats in case you're allergic!) but they are rarely home during the day (you may never see them!).

We do also have a 17 year old son, but he's living his best life and not around often (year 12, basketball, part time job!) but you'll get to know him as well.

Please contact me if you're interested. Thank you!

Job Details: Casual Babysitting

$30 per hour

Hello 🤗

The person who usually looks after our boys has unfortunately injured themselves and needs a few weeks of rest, so we’re currently looking for some help.

We’re based in Yarraville and need someone available on Wednesdays from 9:00am until around 4:45pm.

We have two boys (ages 3.5 and 2) who are fun and loving little boys. The day would involve playing with them, giving meals/snacks, and following their usual routine.

We both work from home next door (at my husband’s parents’ house), so you would never be completely alone if you needed anything.

We’d love, if possible, to organise a trial day on Tuesday 28th to meet you and introduce you to the children before starting.

The role would likely continue every Wednesday for a few weeks if it’s a good fit.

In terms of housekeeping, we simply mean keeping things reasonably tidy during the day (nothing beyond normal day-to-day upkeep).

We’re ideally looking for someone with childcare experience.

Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested or have any questions, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you,
Eva

NEW! Regular babysitter for Kingsville

Kingsville, VIC | 43 km

Start Date: 05 May 26
Applications Close: 04 May 26

Posted by Sheryn 6 days ago

Job Details: Part-time

$30 per hour

Hello,

My name is Sheryn, and my husband and I are looking for a nanny or babysitter for our 5-year-old son on Tuesday afternoons/evenings.

The role would involve picking him up from the local school at 5:00pm (just a 2-minute walk from our home), bringing him home on his bike or scooter, giving him a snack, playing games or activities, and then helping with his dinner, bath, and bedtime routine.

Approximate hours would usually be Tuesdays 5:00pm–8:00pm, with the possibility of starting straight from school some weeks (around 3:30pm–7:30/8:00pm). If we found the right person, would be great on occasional fri/sat nights and some saturday mornings when husband and I are working (once a fortnight/month).

We would love to arrange a trial/meet-and-greet as soon as possible.

Our son has lots of energy but is usually quite relaxed and tired by the evenings. He loves trains, magnetic tiles, building things, drawing with chalk, and reading books.

Our main priority is having him happy, cared for, and well looked after. If time allows, some light household help such as washing, folding clothes, vacuuming, or sweeping would be greatly appreciated.

Experience in childcare, teaching, support work, or similar would be highly valued. Must have WWCC/police check/references preferred.

Seeking Nanny for 1 year old on Thursdays

Seddon, VIC | 44 km

Start Date: 05 Jun 26
Applications Close: 15 May 26

Posted by Carly 15 days ago

Job Details: Part-time

$28 per hour

Hello :)

My name is Carly, and my husband and I are seeking a nanny for one day per week, for our 12 month old boy.
I will be returning to work in June and we have care with family members for a couple of days already.
The third day we are hoping to find a nanny who will come to our house and look after our bub for the day while I work. I will be working from home on this day, so can assist with things like naps in the beginning while he adjusts.
A little bit about our boy, H: He is crawling and cruising and very likely on the verge of taking his first steps!
He loves reading books, climbing, exploring outside, going to the park, dancing to music and walks in the pram.
He is screen free so we’d love for our nanny to come up with montessori style activities and games. However he is very content just hanging out at the park or building (destroying) lego towers.
H is currently on 2 naps per day (total day sleep around 2.5 hours) he’s usually either rocked or fed to sleep and goes down easily although we’d need to practice with a new person putting him to sleep.

The hours would be 8:45am - 5pm roughly, we can be slightly flexible on this.

You will ideally be feeding him lunch, so a small amount of clean up after this would be desired.
During his naps, if there is any light housework such as hanging a load of washing or tidying up toys, etc that would be appreciated.

We live in a small house in Seddon, with a very friendly cat.

Who we’re hoping to find: we’d love a friendly, confident nanny who’s had experience with babies/toddlers. Someone who will become a reliable and trusted person in our life, and a weekly bestie that H looks forward to seeing!

Any questions, please feel free to message me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
