This role is coordinated through VPM In Home Care, an approved provider working within the Department of Education's In Home Care (IHC) program. Care is required on Monday, Thursday and Friday 3.15pm-8.00pm, Tuesday 2.00pm-8.00pm and Wednesday 9.00am-6.00pm

This is an agency-based role, not private employment. Educators are employed by VPM and supported through structured onboarding, compliance processes, and ongoing professional guidance.

Pay and employment conditions
Level 3 $40.59 per hour (Certificate III qualified educator)
Level 4 $43.31 per hour (Certificate III qualified educator with 4 years professional experience)
Level 5 $45.71 per hour (Diploma or higher qualified educator)
Higher rates apply after 6:30pm and on weekends
12% superannuation paid on top
WorkCover and public liability insurance included
PAYG employment through VPM (not contractor work)

The educator will provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for the children.
This position is for a qualified early childhood educator, not a nanny role. Educators work within the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and provide intentional, developmentally appropriate education and care in line with ACECQA and Department of Education requirements.
The focus is on building a secure relationship with the child, supporting routines, and offering meaningful learning experiences through play.

The role would involve coming to our home around 6:30 am, spending about two hours with the kids, and then dropping our son off at school by 8:30 am (it’s only a 5‑minute drive).

We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable nanny to look after our 7 month old baby boy on Tuesday and Wednesdays between 10:30 am and 5:00 pm. Ideally, we would also love someone who is occasionally available in the evenings for date nights or family dinners (we will give plenty of notice).

Our little boy is at such a fun age and loves being outside (not crawling yet). He is very easily entertained at the moment, even watching us hang up the laundry from below is apparently a great activity! He is currently a very good napper, which is why we are looking for a later start, and there may be stretches of around two hours while he sleeps.

I will be working from home and my in laws will also be home, so support will always be nearby if needed. That said, we are really looking for someone who is confident taking the lead while caring for him.
