We are looking for a reliable babysitter to help out two nights per week during school terms (Tuesday and Wednesday) and one to two full days during each school holiday period.
Caring for one 9 year old girl who attends Sandringham Primary, the job involves pick up from school, helping with homework, preparing her dinner and doing some light household chores to assist our family (such as putting washing on, folding child's laundry, packing / unpacking the dishwasher, picking up basic groceries from the supermarket on the way home).
On one afternoon, you will need to take her to swimming lessons locally, staying at the venue during the lesson and putting the washing on once back home.
We need someone reliable due to work commitments, you must be able to make school pick up at 3:30pm and be available to remain with her until 6:30pm. A car is essential due to the swimming lessons as it is not walking distance or easily travelled without a car.
She is a well behaved girl with good social skills and a keen interest in basketball, maths and arts. A babysitter that speaks Spanish or knows an instrument would be a bonus.

Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

We are looking for aN experienced, fun loving nanny who loves kids and gets joy from seeing them laugh, learn and grow. Ideally someone trained in early childhood and experienced in supporting the development of young ones.
The role includes preparing breakfast for kids, getting them ready for the day, dropping off and picking up our daughter from kindergarten (700m down the road) and taking care of our Son (feeding, playing, putting to sleep for nap, taking out for outings to library, park, playgroups and classes). Other duties include preparing kids meals, packing Kindergarten lunchbox, laundry, unstacking and stacking dishwasher/keeping kitchen clean and tidy, keeping lounge room and kids rooms tidy (picking up toys etc). We have a cleaner 1 x per week so no deep cleaning is required but a light vacuum of living areas once a week or so between cleans is appreciated.
If it is preferred, we have a later start on Mondays and earlier finish on Fridays. We can also aim to have you finish earlier when we can get home earlier (between 5-6pm) however flexibility is preferred.
We have a car for you to use with the kids.

My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. We are a family of three and would like to find someone to look after our almost two year old Luna, two times a week preferably in the mornings from 8am until she goes to bed around 12pm on Mondays and Thursdays. These days are flexible slightly if someone is the right fit and these days don’t suit. We would also like Luna’s nanny to be free occasionally on either a Saturday or Sunday, once every 6 weeks.
