Looking for someone to do school pick up Monday {tbc}, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays on Mondays take her to her after school activity and Tuesdays but Tuesdays will only be till April. If flexible a Monday and Thursday 6am start for 2 hours is available also. I'm usually home at 7.30pm so dinner preparation is required throughout the week. Ideally we are looking for an "older sister" vibe of Nanny.
She is a delight and funny girl to be with and easy going.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 11 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. He is supported after school 3pm-8pm and on weekends and school holidays. Looking for someone who has availability on at least one of the listed weekdays and/or Sundays 10am-3pm or 3pm-8pm. The hours have potential to increase if desired by early next year as one of his current team members will be finishing her degree and moving on. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience in support work but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment of at last 1 year and the role requires regular weekly work with the child to be able to work with him on the school holidays so I am not able to accept applicants who are looking for temporary or solely school holiday work. The role will involve morning care, including school drop-off, and afternoon pick-up, along with supervision and care until I arrive home from work. My typical working hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm, so availability within these times is essential.
