We would like our nanny to be able to drive safely, pick him up from school, actively engage with his learning (writing and reading) and assist with his care in the evening - dinner and bedtime routine. Housework will be a part of the job description. Light cooking for our son and cleaning will be involved. We are both busy professionals and need someone who is trustworthy, punctual and very reliable. Engagement with his studies is important to us. Most importantly, a kind, patient and loving personality is essential for this job, given our son has autism and ADHD (diagnosed)

Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.
