After 6 months of long service leave its time to go back to full time work again, so we are looking for a warm, caring nanny for 1.5 hours in the morning and 2 hours afternoon. 5 days a week for the first month and then 4 days thereafter.
We are based in Malvern and we have two children aged 6 (prep) and 9 (grade four) at the same school which is less than a kilometre away.
The role includes making breaky, packing lunches, school drop offs and taking them to sports activities after school. Folding some washing and overseeing homework.
We have a car for you to use. Must have licence and ability to get to Malvern.

My name is Natalia and I have an 8 year old son. He has autism but is high functioning. He is a beautiful sweet natured little boy and is in grade 2. He loves trains, Harry Potter and building lego. My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. I have a 1 year old and if you do not have experience that is okay as I train people how to work with kids and babies as a living.
Duties will include playing with baby, tidying up toys, diaper changes, meal prep, tidying up, cleaning bottles, walking dog. I typically do the feed, bath and bed with the baby but if I am unable to then I will get your help.
