I live in South Yarra so we have access to all public transport within minutes, restaurants, CBD, etc. You will also have access to pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym facilities should you wish to do so before or after work.
I have a 1 year old and if you do not have experience that is okay as I train people how to work with kids and babies as a living.
Duties will include playing with baby, tidying up toys, diaper changes, meal prep, tidying up, cleaning bottles, walking dog. I typically do the feed, bath and bed with the baby but if I am unable to then I will get your help.

We are looking for a wonderful addition to the family to help two busy working parents. We find it difficult to manage all the pick ups with our work schedules, + after school activities. Our current nanny helped us greatly by spending some extra time after the morning rush helping us to reset the house which made the week go really smoothly so we'd love to find someone that might be happy to do some light housework (dishes, tidying kids toys) that will help us reset after the kids go off to school.

My husband and I work full time, often from home, but are usually stuck at our desks most of the time.
At 2:30 you’d arrive at our home, organise school lunch boxes then pick up from kinder and child care using our car, bringing the children home, run some fun after school activities eg games, craft, outdoor play, and then running the dinner / bathtime routine. Sometimes the kids will have play dates or be picked up by us, but usually still home by 5pm.
Option to start earlier If you’ve got particular skills or interests in organising / tidying / general light household management, to keep the kids toys and clothes in order; do meal prep or the like. We have a longstanding weekly cleaner so you’re not expected to do do heavier cleaning. If you’re happy to take our dog for a short walk that would be great too, but not essential.
You would need to have a drivers licence, WWC and child first aid (though we are happy to support you in obtainjng first aid cert. for a auccessful candidate).
The right fit with us and our family is more important than your level of experience or qualifications, though references are preferred. One of our lovely sitters is moving on and we are hopeful someone can help us on a Thursday before and after school, and also Tuesday and Friday mornings. ! Our two children Thomas 8yrs old & Lilli 11yrs old attend two differing schools. You would be required to arrive at 7.30am on the mornings and assist our youngest with getting ready for school. With our spare car, an Audi A4 wagon, you will drop off Thomas to Grimwade in Elsternwick and - occasionally - Lilli to Korowa in Glen Iris and then drive back to Elsternwick to bring back the car. All done by 8:30 or so!
For Thurs afternoon - 2.45pm you will arrive at our home to use our car to pick up children, Thomas first and occasionally - the reverse order to morning drop-off.
Upon returning to our house, the following routine is typical:
-30min play/snack period
-Lilli to complete her homework
-bath or shower Thomas
- cook up dinner for the two children (I usually prep veggies and meal for you)
-This shift ends circa 6.30-7pm
-ideally kitchen and living area are both tidy when we arrive home. And that’s it!
Our two children are beautiful, cuddly and polite and Lilli can assist with Thomas. Your own car is not essential however your ability to drive is. Both my husband Mark and I work full time but we are always a text message away.
