The applicant is required to mainly care for the 7 year old but also to drive older children to sporting activities when required.

If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.

We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. Hi - we are a busy family of five who need assistance looking after our 18 month old, 5 year old and 7 year old on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am until 5:30-6ish.
Both days involve school drop and pick up and then caring for my two youngest. On Tuesdays there is also basketball after school.
We would love someone who is creative and loves doing activities with the children (including getting outdoors and taking them to the park). We both work full time. Our daughter is at kindergarten and our Son is at home.
We are looking for aN experienced, fun loving nanny who loves kids and gets joy from seeing them laugh, learn and grow. Ideally someone trained in early childhood and experienced in supporting the development of young ones.
The role includes preparing breakfast for kids, getting them ready for the day, dropping off and picking up our daughter from kindergarten (700m down the road) and taking care of our Son (feeding, playing, putting to sleep for nap, taking out for outings to library, park, playgroups and classes). Other duties include preparing kids meals, packing Kindergarten lunchbox, laundry, unstacking and stacking dishwasher/keeping kitchen clean and tidy, keeping lounge room and kids rooms tidy (picking up toys etc). We have a cleaner 1 x per week so no deep cleaning is required but a light vacuum of living areas once a week or so between cleans is appreciated.
If it is preferred, we have a later start on Mondays and earlier finish on Fridays. We can also aim to have you finish earlier when we can get home earlier (between 5-6pm) however flexibility is preferred.

They have vastly different personalities so you need to be able to speak with them and engage with them differently , creatively and compassionately and sometimes be a mediator ! It will really come down to how well you can interact with them and really how much they gravitate towards you.
Everything else that I would require is the standard police check , wwc , driving , responsibility and safety etc etc !
At the moment it is casual work moving into the holidays and then it’ll be regular !
