Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Anakie VIC

Hi!
We are on the hunt for a kind and playful person to care for our 5 and 8 year old girls on a regular basis. This job would be before and after school 2-3 days a week ongoing.

The job:
Mornings
- helping with breakfast and getting ready for school;
- drop offs to school (5-10 minutes away)
Afternoons
- pick up from school;
- afternoon tea preparation and play until parents get home
- +/- dinner (usually pre-prepared by family)
Ability to undertake school holiday care is desirable
Hourly rate negotiable based on experience

Us:
- Live across two households within 5 min drive of each other in Highton
- Care provided at both households
- Both parents work in healthcare
- Have two cats at one house and chickens at the other
- Kids enjoy spending time doing outdoor play/gardening and arts and craft
- Close to Barwon river for walks

You:
- must have own car (we will provide car seats)
- Flexibility and ability to pick up extra days/work less days some weeks desirable due to nature of parents work (shift work). Roster 4-6 months in advance can be provided.
- Non smoker
- Enjoy being outdoors and crafts
- LGBTQIASB+ and neurodivergent friendly

Responsibilities:

Caring for newborns (feeding, soothing, and general care)

Light household chores (tidying, laundry, and dishes)

Basic Indian meal preparation (preferred, but not mandatory)


Requirements:

Previous experience with newborns preferred

Friendly, reliable, and patient

Require babysitter for a year old baby on casual basis. Flexibility for number of hours worked needed. Hourly rate negotiable depending on extra work done.

Looking to establish a relationship for ongoing casual babysitting afterhours during the week for parent nights out and weekends. A bonus if you have availability during the weekdays and can assist with childcare on occasion. We have a 10 month old baby and an independent 8.5 year old, the family dog will also think you are here to visit him.
We have a concert booked on Wednesday 5th March in the evening and need a babysitter for this date.
Our preference is for a local babysitter who lives within 15 - 20 min of Point Cook (near Werribee), has own car and is a non-smoker.
