Our lovely long term nanny of 9 years had to sadly leave due to health reasons. We are a professional couple with a multicultural background based in Cleveland QLD.Our kids are 18 and 12 years old and have Autism. They are both calm, happy friendly and quirky kids who are independent in self cares and not high needs at all. We require someone to start atc730am,do drop offs and pick up from high school. You will need to stay home with them after school until one of us returns. This means you will be required for no more than 15 hours per fortnight on set days and times for a minimum of 6 months.We would love someone who is inclusive, honest,respectful, compassionate and conscientious . We've given daycare a shot, but it's just not for us at this point! We are thus on the lookout for an attentive, caring, communicative, and reliable babysitter who can provide personalised, responsive care for our 13-month-old son.

About the role:

🕖 7:30am to 1:30pm 2x a week during school terms until the end of November. One of the days has to be Tuesday, but there is flexibility around which second day we lock in, depending on your schedule. We'd be looking to start with a few shorter paid meet and greets, and then formally in April.

🐥 Safe, engaging, and educational play + care + feeding during wake hours.

🧹 Light household duties during his morning nap (although this will likely drop in the next few months).

🤝 One parent will always be working from home and be in charge of putting bubs down for his nap.

Required:

Highly desirable:

We live in Tallai and have a 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son who both go to school at Somerset.

Ideally, we’d like help with two drop offs and two pick ups each week on a regular schedule. We have an idea of the hours and an ideal weekly schedule - for example, pick up (3-5pm) on Mondays and Thursdays, and drop off (7:30-8:30am) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, we have some flexibility and can work together to figure out a combination that works around your constraints as well.

The mornings would be mostly about finishing getting the kids ready and the school run itself. In the afternoons, we would love for you to make use of our yard/playground/music room to have fun with our kids.

We are happy to pay $35-$40/hour depending on experience and cover fuel for the school runs.
