Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Glenning Valley NSW

We are a family of four with 3 year old and 1 year old girls looking for a safety focused, kind and reliable nanny to take care of the girls while mum works from home on Monday and Tuesday.

Both girls have been in care and the eldest is very comfortable with new people, the baby is a bit slower to warm up but has been doing well at daycare. I’d love someone that genuinely delights in children and has a strong sense of safety. The right person doesn’t need to have loads of experience but will be comfortable managing two small kids out of the house, and driving them in my car to activities.

The baby is allergic to some foods and whilst she has never had anaphylaxis I will want to show our nanny how to use the pen just in case.

We are a warm, down-to-earth family based in Collaroy looking for a caring, reliable, patient and upbeat nanny/babysitter to help care for our two beautiful children (aged 8 and 5), along with some light household support.

We also have a very friendly (and very cute!) Labrador x King Charles Cavalier, Ziggy 🐾, who will happily welcome you each day.

💛 About the Kids

Our 8-year-old daughter is an intelligent, creative “tween” who is wonderful company. She does have a bit of anxiety that pops up around school and extra curricular activities so we are looking for someone who is gentle and caring.

Our 5-year-old son is full of personality – he’s funny, charismatic, endlessly curious, and loves engaging with someone who brings fun and enthusiasm to his day.

🕒 Hours

We are looking for someone who can commit to a variety of morning, afternoon and half day shifts, depending on your needs and availability. We are happy to discuss a combination of shifts and be flexible for the right person.

🌅 Morning Role Includes:

* Preparing breakfast and packing lunchboxes
* Helping children get ready for school
* School drop-off (around 8:00–8:15am) – only a 5-minute drive from our home
* Returning home to:
* Tidy up kids stuff after the morning routine
* Light kid focused housework (e.g. laundry, making kids’ beds, occasional easy meal prep like baking muffins or making bolognese)

🌇 Afternoon Roles Include:

* School pick-up
* Drive daughter to nearby dance class (just 5 minutes away)
* Spend fun, engaging time with either just our 5-year-old or both kids
* Dinner prep

All driving involved is local and very short distance. Petrol reimbursed.

🚗 Requirements

* Valid driver’s licence and safe driving record
* Own car (or reliable transport)
* Comfortable with a friendly dog
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Able to provide at least 2 referees
