Need a baby sitter for tonight.
I have a 8, 6 and 2 year old.

My nanny is away for 2 months so seeking an experienced nanny for our baby until mid-September. We’re hoping to find someone mature, nurturing, and confident, who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and becoming part of a family’s routine.

3.5 days: days can be a bit flexible

Tue (1/2 day) + Wed to Fri (full day)
Or
Mon (full day) + Tue (1/2 day) + Thu (full day) + Fri (full day)

We have a curious, talkative and active 18 month old daughter who loves to toddle around the house, read books and learn new things. Mum and dad work from home most days.

Our ideal candidate will be playful and engage in developmentally-appropriate play, as well as toddler-related house tasks (eg: toddler laundry, post meal washup).

Looking for a casual / part time nanny to help us around the house and take care of our daughter and sit with her to do homework and organise her after school routine.
Prepare after school snack and dinner, cleaning, tidying, laundry for tv time and prepare for bed some nights

We are a warm, close-knit family of three based in Kingsgrove. We are both medical doctors and have a happy, curious son, who has just turned 2.

We are looking for an experienced, long-term career nanny to become a trusted and valued part of our family life.

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in nannying or formal childcare settings
• Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Valid Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Up-to-date immunisations (including whooping cough and influenza)
• At least two professional childcare-related references
• Current Australian driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle to get to work (no need to drive our son during the day)

Welcomed but not essential:
• Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma/Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or nursing/allied health background
• Flexibility or interest in additional hours on an ad hoc basis

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Planning and providing screen-free activities such as reading, musical play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, and walks or park outings in our local area
• Supporting mealtimes (we will provide pre-prepared meals) and naptimes, maintaining a calm and consistent daily routine
• Light child-related housework — keeping play areas tidy, child’s laundry, loading the dishwasher
• Communicating openly with us throughout the day

Schedule & Start Date:
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (33 hours per week)
• Starting ASAP but willing to wait for the right candidate
• We are happy to settle you into the role gradually, so you feel supported as you become familiar with our home, the local area and our son’s routine

What We Offer:
• $40–$45 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
