Seeking permanent part-time caregiver for my age six granddaughter in Gungahlin. Job includes 3pm school pick up, care in the home until 7pm and meal preparation for her. Position is 5 school nights per fortnight. Must have own car and clean driving record.

Looking for a babysitter/nanny for afternoons and occasional weekends! Must be able to handle light housekeeping duties for an 18-month-old boy named Riva.

We’re a small Canberra family looking for a babysitter on Monday mornings for our 2.5 year old toddler for the next few months. He is a very sweet boy who gives lovely cuddles and likes playgrounds, his big sister, and anything to do with diggers. Applicants would ideally have WWCC, first aid cert and/or some ECEC training or experience. Additional weekend day/evening work also potentially available (if this is of interest).

We're after an enthusiastic and patient person to assist with our 3 delightful kids aged between 5 and 7, for weeknights between 3:30-7pm and possible weekend days/evenings.

Hourly rate is negotiable.
Would appreciate some meal/lunchbox prep.
No driving of the children is required at this stage.
Loving dogs is a plus (we have two).

We are looking for someone fun and reliable to care for our two girls (age 6 and nearly 11) after school each day.

You would collect the girls from school near Manuka around 3.20pm, bring them home to Kingston for some snack and play, and supervise any homework. Occasionally the afternoon might include taking them to an after-school activity or appointment. We will be home at 6pm.

Some light household duties like bringing in washing from the line and commencing meal prep.

If you are looking for more hours on a regular basis we can add additional household tasks and babysitting hours. Or extra duties could be paid on an ad hoc basis.

Although we would ideally like someone five days a week we have some flexibility on that.

Hi! We have two fun-loving boys aged 11 and 13 and are hoping to find someone to care for them after school, usually from 4pm to 6pm. The job would involve helping them complete homework and helping them get to / from any after-school activities.

We’re a loving family with a curious, playful three-year-old girl, and a sweet six-month-old baby boy. As we wait for a daycare spot to open up, we’re looking for a nurturing and reliable nanny to support us up to three days a week, the days are completely flexible. Mainly caring for our baby, with occasional care for our daughter as well on the days she’s home.

This is a short-term role with flexible end dates, as we are unsure when we will secure a spot at daycare. However we’re really hoping to build a lasting relationship and stay connected for future ad-hoc support as our family grows and evolves as we dont have a lot of family support in Canberra.

This includes:

- Caring for our baby (and sometimes both children) with warmth and presence

- Age-appropriate play, walks, and outdoor time

- Feeding lunch and snacks, and supporting nap routines

- Keeping play areas tidy and creating a calm, safe environment

- Supporting me while I work and run my business
