Hello lovely nannies!
Our current nanny is off on a new adventure so we are now looking for a new fun, loving and energetic nanny to care for our two kids. We are a friendly outgoing family of four and we both work in the Melbourne CBD. We love eating, heading out to the park, riding bikes and making each other laugh!
Our almost 10yo daughter is creative and crafty, while our 7yo son is active and loves a laugh. Both kids adore books and reading and really get into imaginative play.
We need help for four afternoons a week (Tuesday to Friday).
Proposed hours are 1.30pm to 6.30pm (we are flexible with start time, depending on your availability) to allow time to prepare the evening meal (happy for you to eat with the kids or take some home) and carry out some light household duties prior to the after-school pick-up. (The school is a short stroll away).
Although the primary focus is to care for and stimulate our kids, duties will include food preparation (afternoon tea, cooking a simple dinner for the family), supervision of homework, showers and some light housework (e.g., folding laundry, general tidying and a small amount of vacuuming).

We are looking for someone to help us with our morning/evening routine with the kids and then some housework after it. Ideally the person would live in or around the Preston/Reservoir area. We are on the border of these 2 suburbs.

The working days are flexible and can be anywhere from 2-5 days per week.

The schedule will be roughly as follows and can be the earlier or later part of the day.
8am-9am: Make breakfast, get kids ready for Creche
9am-11am: Prepare some meals for later/Light cleaning/Laundry (This would just be washing and folding clothes, no ironing required). All of these would not need to be done each day just an idea of what tasks are required.

5.30-6.30pm: make dinner/light cleaning
6.30-8.30pm: get kids ready for bed/laundry

There is potential for increased hours in the coming months also and for casual babysitting on the weekends.

Hi, I am looking for a babysitter for my two daughters aged 8 and 12. I will need fortnightly Monday school pickup from Penders Grove PS, then back to our house in Thornbury. There may be an after school activity to take them to as well. I may need other school pickups at times and the odd night time if I am going out.

Our daughter turned one in August and I'm returning to work. We're looking for a nanny experienced in the care of children around her age from Mondays through Thursdays, from around 8:45am-4:45pm. The start date is somewhat flexible. We'd be ready to employ someone as soon as we find a good fit for our family. Our daughter is a very social baby and has done well with other caregivers.

We also have a four year old son who will be at kinder / daycare during the day but may be home occasionally if unwell. In that case, we will be around to help care for him.

We are a professional couple working from home part time and it's likely one of us will be around most days working in our home office. We’ve found that our baby adapts quickly if we need to come into the common room, but we’ll try to stay out of your way at first so you can bond.

Our parenting style is pretty standard, tracking along current child development guidelines, though it probably most resembles the approach promoted by Big Little Feelings / Laura Markham / Becky Kennedy (and an endless well of parenting influencers - oh dear). At a super high level it's just about validating emotions and holding boundaries. We're always open to learning about new or different ways of doing things. We are happy to problem solve any issues that arise with you.

We're looking for someone who:
- has experience caring for babies around her age
- knows what to do in case of emergency and has basic first aid training
- communicates well with us
- is patient and empathetic
- seeks to understand our child, her personality, and needs
- can commit to work with us for at least a year
- can work Mondays through Thursdays, from about 8:45am - 4:45pm.

A plus if you're open to occasional evening or weekend babysitting.

We'd like you to:
- prepare her snacks and lunch and tidy up after her throughout the day
- settle her for naps
- take her on walks and outings
- play and support her growth and learning
- do light housework such as the baby's laundry and cleaning up after meals

Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Looking for a regular babysitter/nanny who can support our family from next year as our eldest starts school. We have a 5yr old girl and 3 yr old boy and live in Ivanhoe.

Responsibilities include:
- Regular pick up from school and daycare/kinder (exact days likely to be Mon-Weds and would require picking up in a car (own or ours)

I'm a parent of a young boy, who is 7.5 years old.
I work casual hours, weeknights and weekends, any time during the day (but never overnights).
I'm seeking a Nanny / Mothers help that is qualified in Early Education or studying towards.
Payment is via an agency so I get the government subsidy. This is not a cash in hand role.
A Nanny that is engaging and loves working with kids.
My boy is super easy to look after but is a little fussy when it comes to eating, so someone that is confident in the kitchen that knows a little more than the basics would be ideal. I provide all meals most of the time but your input on occasion would be welcomed.
My work is adhoc, you will be one of a few nannies, so no pressure to always be available.
