I’m Shayah, im a caring, reliable and bubbly individual with a Certificate IV in Education Support, a current WWCC, First Aid certification in child first aid and infant (babies) which includes CPR and anaphylactic certifications, and a valid driver’s licence (green P plates). I graduated highschool last year, ive been accepted into Murdoch University for double degree in Psychology & Criminology but i have decided to defer for a year. I genuinely love working with children and helping them feel safe, happy, and confident. I enjoy getting involved in play, outdoor activities, creative crafts, and supporting routines to make days run smoothly. I’m comfortable with school drop-offs and pick-ups, light meal preparation, and helping with homework when needed. I’m patient, nurturing, and easy to communicate with, and I understand how important trust and consistency are when caring for your little ones. I’d love to support your family in any way I can!

Hi I would describe myself as diligent, caring, detail oriented, hardworking and supportive. I thrive in challenging situations and always takes ownership of difficult problems. I also like to help around the house. I like playing with children on the parks. I would also describe myself as patience, organised, trustworthy, flexible, positive and good with children.

I love children! I'm an honest, patient, hard-working, reliable, friendly, clean person. I have done a heap of babysitting with children of a variety of ages (0-12 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 year olds) over the last 20 years. I have also done a heap of work with all ages and a range of disabilities as a Speech Pathologist. Speech Pathologists have detailed knowledge in child development; in particular assessment and treatment of difficulties related to feeding, swallowing, stuttering, speech and language development. I'm currently studying my Masters in Counselling. I'm interested in part-time or casual/ad-hoc work. I have previously attended library programs like story-time or rhyme-time, the beach, indoor play centres and so on, done school pick-ups and meal prep. Happy to stay with kids at home too or do NDIS funded support work as needed.
