Hello! I'm Lana, I grew up in Kyneton. All throughout high school I assistanted dance classes at Steps Performaning Arts, which lead me babysitting for families. I also coach little athletics in Kyneton. In my work experience week in yr10 I worked at Kyneton Primary School focusing on the foundation class, gaining valuable hands on experience. During the Christmas period I work for Myer Santaland both in Bendigo and Bourke Street, which combines my skills as a performing artist and my ability to engage children perfectly. As a Queen Scout, I have invaluable skills of initiative, hardwork, professionlism and leadership. I also cover teach drama classes for Paul Canlan with Storyboard Drama. I can guarantee that every babysitting job that I attend I am acompanied with a “kid kit” box filled with fun activities to do!

I am currently in my third year of teaching. I have completed a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) and a Certificate IV in Education Support. I have gained extensive experience working with children in a variety of educational and care settings. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I provided babysitting support for several families. I have also worked as a disability support worker within a primary school classroom, supporting students with additional learning needs. In addition, I previously worked in an Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program at a local primary school, where I supported both mainstream students and students with disabilities. This role involved planning and facilitating hands-on craft activities, assisting with holiday programs, and supporting food preparation and daily routines.
