Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Lucia Pegler, I’m 18 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition Science (Scholars Program) at Monash University, with the goal of completing my Masters in Dietetics in the future ☺️ I graduated from Melbourne Girls College with a 93 ATAR, where I studied from Years 7–12. I had such a positive experience there and loved meeting people from all different cultures and walks of life, which helped shape me into a friendly, caring and open-minded person. Alongside my studies, I was an aerobic gymnast for five years and competed nationally for four consecutive years. I was also team captain for two years, which helped me develop strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills from a young age. Aerobics taught me discipline, commitment, resilience and how to work well with others in both team and individual environments. I have babysitting experience caring for both boys and girls aged 6–11, however I believe I am suitable for children of all ages! I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a fun, safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable and cared for ❤️ My experience has included helping with homework, preparing meals and snacks, cooking, cleaning, tidying play areas and bedrooms, bedtime routines, school pick-ups, keeping children entertained with activities, and helping families with day to day organisation around the home. I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever needed and pride myself on being responsible, patient and reliable. I’m a warm, trustworthy and easy-going person who communicates well with both children and parents. I love building positive relationships with families and bringing a calm, caring and positive energy into the home. I have my red provisional drivers license, a WWCC, and I’m in the process of obtaining my first aid certificate ☺️

I'm very fit & go to Pilates classes twice a week & also walk daily & enjoy dog-walking too for some clients. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders in a Voluntary capacity. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. While working at several Medical Clinics I have experience working in the treatment room attending to acute Asthma cases under a Doctors guidance, administered an Epi Pen, helped with putting on plasters on broken limbs & treated spider bites etc so hands on Emergency care while awaiting an Ambulance. In my last 14 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35 plus per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent regular role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks for your time! Have a lovely day! Sincerely Yours Fionna 🌸

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi There! I am Issy a recent high-school graduate eager to start a babysitting role. Over the years I have developed a genuine passion for taking care of kids or anyone in general. As to why I plan on studying Nursing next year. Growing up in a large family has given me plenty of hands-on experience looking after my cousins, from keeping them entertained to helping with daily routines. I've learned how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each child's individual needs. Although, they are my family members I have also been exposed throughout high school mentoring younger kids through my Sport and Recreation studies. Alongside, growing up next to a park where I would take care of my fellow neighbors and play with them. I find that I bring my own challenges into different situations, but this has actually helped me grow into a more adaptable and understanding person. Depending on each child’s personality and needs, I’m able to adjust my approach and support them in a way that works best for them. Thank you, for taking the moment to read my application.

I also love doing creative activities like painting, crafting, and building things together. For me, it’s important that children feel safe, understood, and happy, while also having fun and learning through play. I would describe myself as warm, patient, responsible, and reliable.
