Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adults—educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am only available to work on the weekends and Monday or Tuesday nights. This is because I currently work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. A second that requires before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am. And the third requires fortnightly help on Thursday’s from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 9 and 12, another where I look after a 6 yearold girl and newborn baby boy, and the third family has two boys aged 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)

I also have worked two ski seasons where I spent the majority of my time in the kids centre teaching children how to ski! I love working with kids and teaching them new activities, skills, and facts. I'm passionate, kind and caring. Love the outdoors, going on adventures and trying new skills. My hobbies are art/crafts, reading and sports (obviously skiing). Additionally, if I am minding kids while they are not up and about then I often help out by cleaning the kitchen and tidying up (the family I worked for last few years got me to organise their tupperware drawer every month -my favourite job!)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! My name is Alice and I'm 22 years old. I am currently studying at the University of Melbourne doing my Honours (Science) - I am working with the Animal Welfare Science Centre looking into zookeeper-meerkat interactions within the Melbourne Zoo! I have experience with children from 18 months to 12 years, with my most recent family being three children (6, 8 and 12). I absolutely adored looking after them, and loved watching them grow and develop over our time together. For this family, I was responsible for school pick ups, taking the kids to after school sports, preparing their dinner and light housework. On the days we had no extra curricular activities, we enjoyed spending quality time together through crafting/art, exploring in the park with their dog, playing games outside, teaching board games and baking together. It was such a pleasure to help create a nurturing environment for them to grow and learn, and I hope to be able to do the same for a new family! Alongside regular nannying, I have also done ad-hoc babysitting for children from 18 months to 10 years. I'm an animal lover and thoroughly enjoy cooking/baking and art - these are some of my favourite activities to do with the children I care for as it provides an opportunity for us to bond over a shared interest. Being a nanny is by far the most rewarding job I have had, and I look forward to providing a positive and nurturing environment for the children and families I work with!
