Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I've just graduated from high school and have deferred my course to travel and am looking for some babysitting before I leave. I have been babysitting for 4 years with experience looking after kids ages 1-12 which has involved picking the kids up from school, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinners, keeping them entertained, helping them with homework and putting them to sleep. I love kids and have plenty of younger cousins and neighbours whom I see and babysit often.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello parents, My name is Tracey, I'm vibrant, energetic and also calm and have a lifelong passion for working with children. From an early age, I discovered my love for caring for babies, toddlers, and young kids at 13 in my hometown of Castlemaine. In my 20s and 30's, I worked in childcare centres before transitioning into a career as a professional musician, alongside raising two wonderful sons who are now 28 and 20. Over the years, I’ve remained deeply involved in caregiving, helping raise my nieces, babysitting for families, and working in aged care as a diversional therapist and a disability support worker. For the past few years, I have been a regular carer for three children under the age of six, further strengthening my hands-on experience, I have also recently nannied and cared for a family with teenage children. I strive to create a nurturing, fun, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged. I believe in the importance of routine, ensuring children are well-rested and happy. I love incorporating creativity and learning into daily activities, whether through reading, music, arts and crafts, puzzles, or imaginative play and love being silly! With my background in music, I enjoy singing lullabies, teaching songs, and use music as a calming tool. I also have a strong focus on health and well-being and love cooking, I come from an Italian background and it would probably be my speciality, however, I can mostly cook anything you require. Light household duties are absolutely fine, as I work best in a clean and organised space. I'm also an animal lover, nature lover and gardener. I would love to find a family where I feel welcome and can make a positive impact in your children’s lives. If you’re looking for a responsible, engaging, experienced mother and caring babysitter, I’d be delighted to chat further. Looking forward to meeting you and your little ones! Warm regards, Tracey

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I have degrees in psychology and early childhood education, and several years' of experience working with children aged 0-5 in kindergarten and long daycare settings. I have also worked with primary school-aged children as a nanny/babysitter, and I have an 11-year-old. I am patient, kind, and joyful, and I love working with children. Some of my favourite activities to do with children are reading books, playing games, making art, exploring the outdoors, and going on outings to places like the museum. I am happy to follow the interests of each child, whether it be reading the same book 20 times or getting on my hands and knees to play with them. My own interests include swimming, yoga, meditation, art, travel, and playing guitar. I speak Spanish as a second language and am more than happy to teach your child some Spanish. I choose not to work with children when they or I have infectious diseases, and I hope you will be on the same page. I did my first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis 2 years ago, so they are all current except for CPR. I'm happy to redo the CPR or the full course if you desire, just let me know. I also have a current WWCC. I also love dogs and am happy to work with families with dogs, including taking them for walks.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Alice πŸ‘‹ I’m a responsible, calm, and caring childcare provider with extensive experience working with children of all ages in both home and structured settings. I’m a University of Edinburgh graduate and have spent several summers working as a camp leader and tennis coach at international youth camps, where I supported children’s wellbeing, routines, and confidence in high-energy, multicultural environments. I’m naturally patient, attentive, and grounded, and I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, relaxed space where children feel comfortable and supported. Alongside play and activities, I’m very reliable with routines such as meals, homework, bath time, and bedtime. I take safeguarding seriously and always aim to communicate clearly and thoughtfully with parents. My background in sports coaching, hospitality, and pastoral care has helped me develop a calm, adaptable approach β€” whether caring for younger children or engaging older ones with activities and structure. I’m active, outdoorsy, and creative, but equally value quiet time like reading, drawing, or winding down at the end of the day. Parents often describe me as trustworthy, present, and easy to feel at ease with β€” and I genuinely enjoy building positive, respectful relationships with both children and families.
