Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hey! I’m Yew, an easygoing, somewhat ambitious full time university student studying fin and econ that works part time. A description shouldn’t be enough for parents to trust me nor anyone with their kids. Although I can do my best to describe myself, I would like to say I am quite a patient person having grown up in a chaotic household with 3 siblings ( a younger sister and 2 older siblings) alongside I also patiently babysit my girlfriend quite frequently too! I have a high stress tolerance and regularly exercise emotional regulation just to be better for myself . I am pretty proactive in my own life, and would apply that to babysitting, taking precautionary measures to ensure your child is safe at all times along with general housekeeping if you’d like. I do enjoy lounging a lot but my mind needs entertainment so I can definitely keep your child entertained as I do so with myself, with books or television, if screen time is an issue which it is for me, I’d happily go for walks and to the park or even go on outings! I have a dog and if you’d be happy with it, I’d love to take him along to share some babysitting responsibility too! He too likes to be entertained and is very easily entertained and I love him very much to just treat him like a pet, he’s more so a best friend. Feel free to text, call, FaceTime or meet if you’re close by, I try to be transparent and honest with myself so I will do the same with how I can be fitted for you.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I'm Keiko (pronounced cake-o) and I'm a 21 year old student. I'm a very active person, I love sports and being outside. I also love singing and dancing (particularly musical theatre), and am quite an avid reader. I love playing with kids, I've always enjoyed imaginative play and never really grew out of it. I moved to Australia when I was 12 from France, so I am a native French speaker (but grew up in an English speaking household, hence why I speak both languages). I do quite a lot of casual babysitting in my free time, and I've been with the families I babysit for, for years now, but am looking for some more hours.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

**Looking for Thursday, Friday and adhoc positions Hi, I’m Aanya! I’m 21 years old and a very experienced babysitter who would love the opportunity to nanny for a family looking for someone like me :) I am a positive, enthusiastic and warm person, who finds caring for kids the most rewarding and enjoyable job in the world. I spent most of my teenage years babysitting, and have been working multiple part time nanny jobs the last 5 years post school, while also balancing a couple different tafe courses. I have a range of experience with different families, and have looked after kids between 7 months and 12 years old. I love to read, bake, and enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family as I grew up road tripping/camping all over the country. I’m an extroverted girl who loves dogs, shopping, the beach and walking. I discovered my love for kids through childcare centre volunteer work as a teen, and in the last 5 years have worked both full time and part time jobs as a nanny for multiple families, gaining lots of experience. I have also completed half of my Cert III in early childhood, which has given me a bit of background in childhood development (currently deffered to spend more time working in babysitting as the placements are very time consuming.) I’ve learnt patience and empathy through caring for kids, and the importance of being warm and understanding as at the end of the day, these are childrens minds and hearts I am helping to grow, which is an amazing thing to get to experience. I love outdoor sensory play, trips to the park or taking the baby for a walk in the pram, quiet time reading books, arts and craft as well as baking with the kids. I aim to foster a creative and fun space, but also a deeper relationship where they can trust me. I‘m super clean and organised, and have no problem doing housework, cooking meals, cleaning up after play and have experience driving kids around and doing kinder drops-offs/pick-ups. I have both my police check and WWCC. I currently nanny Mon-Wed during the week for a family with two girls ages 20 months and 4 years old, but am looking for Thursday, Friday, and weekend positions. I am first aid/cpr trained, and have completed the early learning education and trainings Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations course. I understand the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for a child, and aim to prioritise that fully. I love working closly with parents to learn what parenting styles work for them, and how to implement any techniques into my time spent with the kiddos. Please feel free to get in touch if you have anymore questions regarding me and my experience, or if I seem a good fit for your family. I look forward to chatting with you :)

I’m based in Mont Albert and have my driver’s licence, so I’m very happy to travel to nearby areas.
