Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au pair

Hey! My name is Hailey and I currently live in Beulah park. I currently work as a ward assistant at Burnside hospital Monday to Friday. I am looking for babysitting work in the evening (after 2/3pm) Monday to Friday. My love for working with kids started by watching my older siblings babysit after school hours for kids in our community in the South East. From then I decided to follow their footsteps. As I reached high school my older siblings had moved to Adelaide for school in which I took over and started babysitting the same kids. I realised I had a massive passion for working with kids and helping out families. When I finished school I worked on my family farm along with picking up a babysitting job. I cared for a one year old twice a week for 2 years. I absolutely love working with infants and toddlers, but I babysit children of all ages. When I'm not babysitting or working I love baking, visiting extended family, swimming and keeping fit. I consider myself to be a very well organised, reliable and enthusiastic individual. I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey families, my name is Caroline and I have been working with and caring for children for roughly 7 years in various ways. My love for children began once I became an aunty. Being an aunty fostered my passion for caring and working with children which led to working with vulnerable children within the Child Protection setting for 3 years. From here, I moved to Queensland and I decided to continue working with children however, in an education and care environment. I worked as an Educator in the nursery room from ages 5 months to 24 months old. Working in childcare and studying gave me a different sense of knowledge, understanding, passion and love for caring for children and supporting their growth. It opened me up to becoming more creative, patient, experienced and understanding of child development. I loved building connections with the children and their families, creating a deep level of respect and trust towards one another while in care. This was fostered through listening to parents needs and wants for their children, working together, creating an environment for children to feel secure and safe, thrive developmentally, physically and emotionally, to have the best learning experiences based on their interests, build their sense of belonging and having fun. I also enjoyed learning different development theories/methods, applying them within our daily flexible routines, learning activities and play experiences. I have a deep understanding that every child is unique in their own way and I have learnt skills in order to adapt my approach to suit the needs of different children. I would love to continue working with children as I prepare to have my first baby arriving in December. Children fill our lives with their beautiful individual personalities, innocence, imagination, creativity and their own special sparks. *Waiting to obtain my WWCC due to current change of states and change of last name (due to marriage).

Born in Melbourne and where I lived for the first 3 years of my life. I relocated to the UK where I completed school, and subsequently obtained a degree in English from the University of Sussex. I recently permanently relocated to Adelaide. Since graduating, I have had experience working with children aged 4-11 in a school as a teacher's aide and as general support staff. During my time at the school, I was responsible for providing one-on-one support for children with special educational needs and disabilities, led small group interventions which covered all curriculum areas, completed a course focusing on supporting the emotional wellbeing of the children and independently ran sessions for those who needed access to social and emotional support, occasionally covered for class teacher and assisted with lesson planning. I have also worked as a babysitter for children of all ages over the span of 12 years and provided private tutoring too. I would love to become a Nanny, as I take great joy in helping children learn, grow and explore the world around them. I would hugely benefit from the experience, as it offers the valuable and unique opportunity to expand my life experiences. The chance to become an extended part of a family, whilst providing support with childcare and household tasks is appealing to me as I want to be able to contribute to the daily lives of a family and create a special bond.I would be a reliable, trustworthy and patient Nanny with a sense of humour, and would ensure to respect all family boundaries. I can also offer any additional tutoring in any subject area required.

I'm a primary school teacher, available full-time during school holidays. Availability negotiable during school term. I have a passion for working with children and love to help and see them learn, grow and experience the wonders of the world. I have over 10 years experience working with children from 1.5-13 years of age in a variety of roles such as: a nanny for three separate families, in home educator for a child with Cerebral Palsy, live in Au-Pair for two separate families (Germany and Switzerland), ad-hoc babysitting for various families and currently as a Primary School teacher for over 5 years. I also have some experience with babies, I helped out for a month when my nephew was just 3 weeks old, then again from when he was 6 months old, when they moved back to Australia. When the weather permits, I enjoy going outside with the children, exploring nature, playing at the playground, kicking a ball around the grass and playing hide and seek. I believe children are naturally inquisitive learners and take a hands-on learning approach, allowing children to learn and explore safely themselves whilst actively supervising close-by if they need any help or reassurance. Personally I am a keen cook and baker and would happily cook family meals, prepare lunch box snacks and children's meals. Although eating and cooking meat myself at home, I have strong knowledge of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets and cooking tasty and nutritious food accordingly. If your children are interested in being in the kitchen, I'd happily cook meals with them, introducing them safely to how to move about a kitchen. I really enjoyed my previous days working as a nanny, where the little 1.5y/o boy would run to the door when I arrived, cuddling me around the legs eager to start playing and reading books. Making blanket forts on rainy days and cooking healthy treats together. Going to the local park and petting dogs together. I look forward to helping future families with their little ones. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to email through my CV and relevant documents to potential families. Contact details for referees can be provided after meeting in person. Payment in cash is appreciated at the end of each shift.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! 😊 My name is Georgia and I'm 32 years. I have recently moved to Adelaide after living in Perth for the last 18 years. I grew up babysitting my younger siblings, and from around the age of 23 I worked formally in childcare- for a before and after school care company, casual creche work, and nanny roles. My last job in Perth was nannying for two beautiful children who were ages 6 months and 4 years when I started. I was with them for two years. Since being in Adelaide I have done a short term nanny job looking after a sweet 14 month old toddler. I am very warm, caring and engaging with children. I love to actually engage with children, I have excellent supervision skills and am responsive to children's needs. I am familiar with gentle and attachment style parenting. I am familiar with things all children can experience- separation anxiety, big emotions etc and am calm and patient with children. I don't drive but love to take children on walks or bus adventures to the playground or other fun outings. I love to engage in reading, arts and crafts, imaginary play, sensory activities and outdoor play with children. I'm more than happy to help with any light cleaning- dishes, laundry and I always use my initiative to clean up after toys and activities.
